## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would it be possible to cut the foam? I'd like to make it a couple inches shorter to fit in my truck bed.**
A: Yes I cut it to fit on the bottom of my Honda Element. It has covers as people mentioned, but they are zippered and easy to remove from the foam (so you can also wash them). I just took off the covers and used an electric butcher knife. It cut like butter! I tried a few other blades first but the electric knife was BY FAR the smoothest and easiest cut.

**Q: How hard is the mattress on a scale of 1 (soft) to 10 (hard)?**
A: I’m used to a medium soft bed with a latex topper, which on a soft to hard scale would be a 3-4. By comparison this mattress is a solid 6-7. A little hard, but by no means uncomfortable. It gives enough to sink in a bit—maybe 3/4” (19mm) for someone 160 pounds (73kg) , 1/2” (13mm) for someone 120 pounds (55kg)

**Q: Does it feel like memory foam or is it firm? Im looking for memory foam to put on my massage table.**
A: Comfort foam = couch cushion foam = polyurethane.
Sleeps like a firm mattress. Feels great, resists sagging with moderate use.
Heavy use can cause stitching between sections to seperate a little, however, not to the point of failure, so perhaps deduct one star for that.

**Q: Is the mattress made of memory foam or regular foam?**
A: The mattress is made of 4 or 6 inch thick pieces of memory foam depending on which you order. I tried the 4 inch and is super comfortable for me. Just so you have a better idea-I'm a larger woman over 200lbs and it supports me in every way. I use it every night. I also like that it stows away very easy when I get ready to clean.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Investment
*by on Reviewed in Canada 24 July 2020*

My brother and I bought one of these mattresses each for when we go on our family camping trips. We were sick and tired of buying air mattresses and having them spring a leak in a season or two, so we figured we’d try folding foam mattresses instead. We use the mattresses on the ground in our tent, and they work phenomenally well. They are incredibly comfortable, much more than air mattresses even, and we don’t have to worry about them leaking! The only downside is that they take up much more room than an air mattress would, but space is not usually too much of a concern for us, as we have a trailer and multiple vehicles that we use to bring our stuff up. Another thing to keep in mind is if your tent ever leaks, these mattresses will be massive sponges that will soak up a boatload of water, so be sure that if you’re using it in a tent, that the tent is sufficiently waterproof. Also, sometimes the bottom of these mattresses can get slightly damp from condensation inside the tent, but because they fold, you can stand them on their end in a zigzag pattern and the water all evaporates in an hour or two. This is a minor inconvenience that only happens after a particularly cold night though, and I have never gotten wet while I slept because of this. All that aside, I will never go back to air mattresses unless space demands it. The comfort and longevity of these things is completely worth the up-front asking price. Absolutely love it!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality matress, that can be folded, and stored!
*by on Reviewed in Canada 23 August 2020*

I recieve the matress quite fast, and it was vaccume sealed, so it was rolled up in a strong plastic bag. It was very well packaged, and as soon as I opened the sealed plastic bag the mattess began to take shape. It took a couple of hours to fully gain its full shape, and it is very very well made with a fully removable cover for easy washing which is a huge bonus!! It is embroidered on the top of the mattess, and it very high quality, compared to the one I had prior, which caused me $100. And was just sponge. This 4 inch is very sturdy, but soft when you lay on it. I have everyone of my kids wanting to use it! It could easily replace a matress on any single bed, the 6 inch would be even better I'm thinking, but I must say I am very happy with this 4 inch as it holds its 4 inches very well. You can buy one and you won't regret it at all!!! Hope this helps for anyone thinking about buying it!!! P.S. it folds up very nicely to be stored if needed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly Comfortable
*by on Reviewed in the United States 22 September 2026*

This folding mattress is surprisingly comfortable for something so portable. The 4-inch foam provides decent support, and it folds up easily when not in use. Great for guests, camping, or anywhere you need an extra sleeping spot without keeping a full-size bed around.
