Good quality, great step toward household plastic reduction
Cons--I had one or two bristles flake off which was rather unpleasant-The brush head is large and took some getting used to, but now that I’m used to it it’s hust fine-I don’t quite understand the purpose of the charcoal bristles (or how they were made). They are just plain soft bristles to me.Pros--All-cardboard packaging, no plastic-Numbers are stamped into the side to identify which one is which-Sturdy-Easy to clean- Bristles are soft but firm enough to scrub your teeth which is niceOverall these brushes are a bit pricier than plastic, but after using one for a few weeks now, I enjoy the bamboo brush more and this brand is very good. Not flashy like other bamboo brushes I’ve seen. Simple and to the point. I will be buying again, but since a single brush lasts a long time, I doubt I will be buying for a while. These are great if you’re trying to cut down on plastic use overall like I am. It’s a small step, but a step worth taking.

I love these toothbrushes!
These toothbrushes are amazing! I bought these bamboo toothbrushes initially because I wanted to lower my plastic consumption. I thought I would have to settle for whatever wooden toothbrush I found, and that they would most likely be inferior to plastic toothbrushes. What I didn't expect was to love these bamboo toothbrushes more than any other toothbrush I've ever owned! I like the way the wooden handle feels in my hand, and I love the charcoal based bristles - my mouth always feels so clean after brushing! Personally, I don't find the brisles to be too hard or annoying to my mouth (though it should be noted that I don't have a very sensitive mouth). I also haven't noticed any issues with the bristles falling out. These toothbrushes have held up remarkably well. When I eventually run out of the four toothbrushes I ordered, I will definitely be ordering again!

LIFE CHANGING
I've never used a toothbrush like this before so I was really used to the plastic ones. When I first used it, some of the bristles were coming out because I was so used to the plastic ones so I was used to brushing my teeth aggressively. I'm not sure why some of the reviews said the bristles were sharp on this brush. Based on my first experience, I actually felt the bristles were too soft (again, used to the plastic ones). Then I decided to do a little experiment and swapped out my regular toothbrush for this eco friendly one. I can't believe I never found these before! I got so used to how gentle these bristles were on my teeth that when I decided to use my Colgate plastic toothbrush after 2 weeks, my Colgate so rough on my teeth! I am never going back to traditional toothbrushes ever again.

It’s a toothbrush
I got this product along with a charcoal toothpaste and while I don’t believe they are an improvement whiteness wise over standard the toothbrushes are very well made and packaged nicely. The bristles are a bit stiffer than a normal toothbrush but they soften over time and I honestly got used to it and don’t mind it also does a really good job of keeping toothpaste I’ve never had my blob fall of putting it in the running water and even after 2 minuets there is still plenty in the bristles. My only complaint is that they are fairly wide and tall and the first 6 or 7 times I struggled a bit getting used to having to open my mouth a little wider than you would for a normal toothbrush. Overall I recommend it if you just want a cool way to brush your teeth and don’t mind getting use to a slightly different way of brushing. It’s also very light and since they send you 4 it will last for quite a while.

Plastic Bristles
I did a search for "natural bristles" tooth brush, which is what I generally use (boars bristles) and don't give a hoot what kind of handle my toothbrush has, since a handle does no cleaning. The advertisement suggests these toothbrushes have "charcoal bristles", whatever that is, so I made the purchase. They don't - they are just plastic, plain and simple - false and misleading advertisement is not a good start. That said, these plastic bristles are a bit different - frayed at the tips, so they do a good job of digging into the gum(unlike other plastic bristles which I avoid like the plague), and do so very gently, while feeling rather thorough. These bristles are still too soft for my own preference, but I'll not send them back. They are ok, but not what they advertise at all, thus my review, which they requested. If they were more expensive, I'd have given 2 stars for the mislead.

Good toothbrushes
Have had these for about a month and a half. I bought them for the whole family in my quest for reducing plastic and everyone seems to like them. I don’t know if I just needed to get used to the bristles, but at first it hurt my gums a bit. I know I have a tendency to brush a little roughly and have to focus on brushing gently, so perhaps that was it. Or maybe it’s that they are a little more fine and a little more pointy than a plastic toothbrush’s? My husband said they didn’t hurt his at all and the bristles felt really soft. So I pressed on, brushing ever so gently. It no longer hurts at all and it works great. Definitely a different feeling to get used to after using plastic, contoured ones all your life.

Best bamboo brush I've tried to date
I'm very happy with these toothbrushes. The bristles are quite soft and comfortable to use. They feel like they clean my teeth quite well. The black color was a little initially strange! but you get used to it very quickly. Most importantly, the shape and texture of the handle is much more comfortable and feels much better in my mouth when using it than the other bamboo toothbrush I tried. I've only used these for a week or so and haven't observed any wear on the brush het. I'm hoping one brush will last at least a month. Another brand I tried only lasted a few days before the bristles went ratty - while it said on the box it's supposed to last 3 months!
