Netting isn’t frost proof
The netting isn’t like the breathable Lowe’s type. It’s more of a big preventative type material.

Nice little row cover.
UPS was right on time with this - I put about 360 seeds into sprouting trays today, and I was going to have to carry all of them inside. YIPPEE!No instructions. You have the photos to go by, which is alright. I really expect that instructions should come with the product though. They are stingy with the clips. You get 12, and I dropped one in the leaf litter, so I'll never see that green thing again. Oh well, I'll get some of those office springy paper clips to hold things together. If you've never put a row cover up before, you need to be aware that the finished size is not the advertised size. I think the material is 8 ft x 24 ft, or it's close enough for government work. Finished size of this mini-greenhouse is going to be about 5 ft x 21 ft and about 16 inches high. That's room for a fair number of seed trays. The hoops are all plastic. I don't advise that you poke them into the ground. I used a fiberglass electric fence post to poke the holes, then the plastic hoops just inserted into the holes beautifully. The job took me about 40 minutes, because I tried to make things more complicated than they are. That, and searching for my lost green clip. I think a guy could have it done in 15 minutes, maybe 10 if he had some practice. The weight of the fabric is not specified anywhere that I can find. It is quite light, probably 1/2 ounce. I prefer 1 or 1 1/2 ounce fabric, but this should suffice for a season or two. The fabric is easily replaceable when it wears out.Light duty and reasonable care should make these hoops last for years. They won't stand up to abuse, that's for certain. At the price, it seems a good buy for casual gardeners. Professional gardeners and landscapers probably wouldn't think so.

It works, but watch how you assemble it.
First off, don't let the title make you think this will cover an area 8' x 24', please read the description so you know the actual size of the covered area. When assembled it will cover an area about 32" wide and less than 24" high, maximum. Now please listen carefully as I am going to give you a tip on how to get these fully assembled with a minimum of fuss. Step 1 is to go and get your heat gun or a high wattage handheld hair dryer. Step 2 is to lay out all the pieces on a table so you have them oriented in the way you want to assemble them. In Step 3 we are going to heat up one have of the connecting pieces, all the way around, so that it expands just a bit. Step 4, now push the end of the plastic pieces into those connectors, it will go in easy, if not heat the connector more. The poles will stop when they get to the middle of the connector. Then set that combo aside to cool. Repeat Step 4 on all the pole ends that need a connector. Once all the poles have the appropriate connector on the correct ends you can now start on Step 5. Reheat the open end of the connectors and insert the other pole to complete the open hoop. Once you have all the hoops complete set them aside, crack open your favorite drink and wait a while while all those connectors cool off.At this point you will have pretty sturdy hoops, for a small plastic hoop that is. You can get them apart if you want to, but it is not an effortless task. Poke them into your garden bed and cover with as much of the cloth as you need. The covering is easily managed and cuts with a scissor or sharp knife. Use the clips to hold the cover in place.

Hoops Ok, Mesh Netting Unimpressive
This is an OK kit. The hoops include two curved arm pieces and one center piece that you connect the arms to, so if you have a narrow bed, you can leave the center piece out and connect the two arms directly. The hoops are made of the typical thin metal covered in plastic. The product description of "Ultra Fine Mesh Netting" is accurate. The cover material is NOT landscape fabric (thin or otherwise) that someone would use to insulate plants from the cold. It is a fine mesh net material, so be aware of that before you purchase the product. If you're just purchasing mainly for the hoops and have your own landscape fabric already, then this will probably work for you. If you're looking for the kit to include a substantial frost / cold protection cover then I'd look for a different kit or buy additional landscape fabric.

Mesh protects the birds
I'm quite satisfied with this mesh netting kit to protect my small front yard garden from pesky birds and other critters. The setup is straightforward with the connectors and tubes included in the package, but they are plastic. The fine mesh material is of decent quality, the mesh is fine enough to keep out even the smallest of birds and insects while still allowing sunlight and water to go through.

Bug tunnel
This is a good way to keep a good amount of bugs off of your plants, just know that this is not a frost cover.Putting it together and making sure that it is sturdy is a bit of a pain. Make sure that you look up some tips and techniques that will work for your soil. Some might need to pound pipe into the ground and fit the hoop/stakes into those.A heat gun can help to put the pieces together. This is a pretty good tunnel for the price.

Useful
I'm happy to have some decent netting for my garden to deter those pesky bugs from chopping my new sprouts to the ground (as they usually do), and the voracious birds and rabbits, come planting season. The netting is ultra-fine but strong, which is exactly what I need. The netting and the hoops are lightweight making them easy to use, however, they may need to be anchored or bolstered from wind, but will certainly work to hold the netting up. It's great that is comes as a kit with everything needed.
