Fantastic rehab tool!!
Excellent product for rehabbing tendon issue (lateral epicondylitis) that has been ongoing for 18 months. My job in automotive glazing is very physical and hard on the body especially the arms., so this does not exactly help promote healing. After trying all sorts for 12 months with little success I turned to eccentric exercises with incremental weight increases over several months which finally started the healing & strengthening process, and got it to approx 70% of pre injury function, but no further. The Powerball is the tool to restore full function and get it to 100% - healed. It has taken a few weeks of persistent use at approx 5 - 6000rpm for 5 minutes of spinning to promote blood flow & movement to the elbow joint & tendon insertion, but you can feel the gyroscopic movement of the ball working the hand & arm in a therapeutic way that is hard to replicate with any other tool. You can actually feel it working. You have to be patient & use it every day, but it will do the job. Blood flow is what heals us in the soft tissues/tendons. Tendons have very little blood flow in the joint. Powerball promotes blood flow & movement. Forget all the rubber band flossing, rubber sticks, and other products. They either make the issue worse - for me it was the Thera Band rubber sticks that aggravated the elbow joint - or just give temporary relief. Band flossing is hard to do yourself, & interferes with the blood flow in your arm, so very awkward to do yourself for little gain. The Powerball is very easy to use, and will keep the joints, tendons, & soft tissue in your arms in good shape. A great rehab tool that not only works, but will also help pre-hab your wrist, elbow, arm from future injury. The supplier also gives excellent backup service with any queries. very professional, & a pleasure to deal with. Their website is very informative and has all the information & videos you will need. If you have arm issues that are not healing then do yourself a favour and get one of these - they work!! Recommended 100%

Solid product. Does what it should.
My powerball works well, it really does work out my wrists which is good because I have very weak wrists. I'm not sure why, I just do. The autostart function is needed to be honest, it makes starting the device much easier.Carrying on the momentum of the device is never a problem for me as it was always spinning enough from the autostart that you can get the gyro inside the ball moving (again, this would be a problem with the pull cord method a lot so I do recommend the autostart feature). One thing I don't appreciate is that the LCD screen tends to be covered while using the powerball, the way you're supposed to hold it means your palm often covers the screen so silly design flaw there but you are able to quickly read what's on the screen by stopping (before the battery runs out from the lack of spinning) so that's ok for me.I do feel forearm and wrist training when using the ball so it definitely works but will require some dedication otherwise it'll just end up on your shelf most likely.I do feel it's a bit pricey but other than that it does have good build quality, can handle some abuse as well so its durable and does what it's supposed to do.Minus one star for the screen normally being covered by your palm if you hold the device like in the instruction videos but that's it; Solid product all around.

Great for physio
I needed items for physio following a wrist fracture while waiting to see a professional. The variety in this pack is great as helps works different areas while helping rebuild strength that's been lost. Has helped so much and as a result my progress has impressed the professional physio I've now started to see. Great value for the number of items as I'd priced them individually first.

Excellent product for musicians' hand/forearm health (but do what I did to my last one and oiled it)
I got one of these several years ago to help with some wrist and forearm injury due to over-practicing guitar. The reason I got this new one is that I dropped my old one whilst using it (very solid drop onto a wooden floor), and the self-windup mechanism broke. Not bad, considering it is a good 4 years old and I use it every morning as part of my exercise routine.Thing is, I didn't realise how much I had messed my first one up by oiling it in an attempt to do good maintenance, a year or so ago. I am very happy that my old one broke (well, it didn't break, it just wouldn't wind up on its own, so I replaced it for the convenience really) because I now realise how important it is that there is internal friction, so that it really has that gyroscopic feel of the ball fighting your wrist/forearm, which is why is works so well to get blood flowing to the wrist and forearm. So to repeat myself, don't oil it ever!I highly recommend one of these Powerballs for anyone who plays a musical instrument like piano, or strings, where fine muscle control is so important. It helps prevent RSI and helps recovery, which I have benefited from.I use it every morning, and also for a minute or so before playing guitar, and I can feel how well it brings blood into the forearm, which is has so many nerves, tendons and ligaments, all of which need blood to flow to them to keep them working well. The Powerball stimulates the area brilliantly.
