Ready Steady Cook Classic 5 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set, 14cm Milkpan, 16cm, 18cm, 20cm Saucepans with glass Lids and 24cm Frypan

Usually I'm wary of products 'endorsed' by TV "celebs", progs etc., but I needed some reasonably priced cookware for my induction hob, so, taking favourable reviews into account, bought the RSC pans, and am not sorry I did.What really impresses me about the pans is their non-stickedness. I've previously owned supposedly non-stick pans but most, to one degree or another, have disappointed. That's where these pans impress; they're easy to keep clean and after 2 months use, retain their looks, in particular the frying pan, which even after the inevitable overcooking/burning it's endured, easily cleans-up back to its original condition.Recommended!! ;-Dadded 29/4/2012 on reading later reviews, I stick (!) by my remarks about their non-stickedness. The frying and milk pans' have a non-stick coating that, after over 6 months usage have stood up quite well and still retain their appearance; ditto the 3 saucepans, although not coated I've had no problems removing residues of food remaining in the pans -a soak in hot soapy water invariably has done the trick; a rub with a scouring pad on the outside bases from time to time keeps their appearance up to scratch!

I bought these pans a year and a half ago and they have been used daily. I received a non-stick milk pan and frying pan in contrary to the current picture. They are good solid pans, the non-stick frying pan has held up really well and gets used on very high heat often. All the pans have good solid bases, and hold heat well.The stainless steel pans are really easy to clean (I don't have a dishwasher so only hand wash). I did manage to create a brown patch on the largest pan once (due to my technique or lack thereof) and I didn't immediately get that out, but a little vinegar and baking soda heated up for 10 mins or so and a little scrub meant that was soon history!I can't imagine wanting to upgrade these pans, as having used more expensive sets in the past, the quality of these is excellent.

Our good saucepans won't work on new induction hob cooker, Belling) so wanted a cheap set of induction saucepans, while we decide on which better ones to get. Not so cheap now as they have gone up by 50% in five days. They work ok but are rather small capacities. 20cm saucepan 2.5 litre, 18cm 1.6 litre and 16cm 1.2 litre. None of the set are non stick. They are all plain stainless steel inside. Really pleased with induction hob cooking as it as controllable as gas but cleaner. Hob unit itself does not get that hot, it is the saucepan that gets hot.

Not suitable for induction hobs. It burned rice! I've never burned rice in my life. Contacted the company for an exchange as it states there is a 10 year guarantee and they said no! That it had been exposed to too high heat as the bottom of the pan was scorched! It was scorched because it's crap and not compatiable with induction hobs. Money down the drain. Quality poor generally. I would not recommend.

I love this set of pans which includes frying pan and milk pan.Having had all sorts of pans from aluminium to non-stick, I prefer stainless steel.I bought these as a warehouse deal and I am very impressed.They are suitable for any type of cooker including induction hobs.

I bought these when we moved into our new house which had an induction hob after being rather confused why our old set didn't work.I've had them now for nearly 2 years & they are actually nearly as clean as new, nothing really sticks to it & its easy to clean any marks or stains off. Its really good value for the price.Shame they don't improve my cooking though lol.

Don't be put off by the low price, these are quality heavy pans that work on my induction hob. After using daily and with dishwasher, several months later there is no sign of rust or use/scrapes. I was initially sceptical but give these pans a try, they are really good value for money.PS: I haven't used the frying pan much since I have another one.

Sadly only 1 star, due to just using the frying pan once and found it very thin so it just heated up too quickly and burnt the steak even on much lower temperature. Rang supplier who was very helpful and agreed that I could return for a refund of which I am still waiting for.
