I ordered this as a tool. I wanted in a hip mounted tool holder open the box and realize it was way too big. I almost returned it. I took it apart. I looked at how it was built. Seemed like a quality Bill in a pretty nice heavy flashlight. For the price I thought I’ll just keep it and put it in the car. Then I tested out the light. It’s remarkably bright. The beam runs off into the distance. The features work perfect brightness dimness flashing. It backs up as a phone charger and charges. This thing is an incredible value. If you were considering it at all, it’s an automatic yes. I will see how it holds up.

I served two tours of duty in Iraq and one in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army, and the correct choice of flashlights was essential. Prior to deploying, I purchased multiple expensive flashlights, but none compared to this. It's well-constructed, heavy-duty, and extremely bright at an incredible price. I love the hybrid AAA battery/USB charging option; you never know when an electric outlet will be available, so you can prepare accordingly. Do yourselves a favor and purchase more than one. they're worth it!

This flashlight is very bright and the beam is easily adjusted. The flashlight gets ten to twenty minutes of daily use to keep track of the dog as he wanders around the yard and to observe various critters in the night. We usually charge it every couple of weeks, when it is about half discharged, but it has often been more than a month between charging and it still has battery capacity left. It has five handy settings. My only (minor) complaint is that I have to cycle through all five settings to turn it off.

Hefty, sturdy, bright. 3 second hold off function takes some getting used to, ultimately not a big deal. I thought that the broad flood light range would be larger / wider but I think my expectations there were based on a different product that I was considering at the time of purchase.

Product doesn't work. The only way that it will come on is if it's directly plugged into outlet. Charging doesn't work.
