Light and needing upgrades. But I knew that going in and after I customize them I suspect they will serve my needs well. Several other reviewers commented on the subpar packaging and I can confirm their concerns. But the clamps arrived undamaged and I'm happy with them. I may buy more in the future. For the price they are a nice value. I have only used two of the six that I purchased for a larger project coming up. I will probably purchase a few more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Impressive Good Quality Clamps *by T***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 12, 2017* Finally the day has come when I am able to give a Silverline product a 5 star review!! Having tried several of their products in the past they are usually of terrible quality but they were the only company selling bar clamps in this price range so I bought four of them expecting to have to modify them.... but delighted to report these are really very good.As a woodworker you can never have too many clamps and I have quite a lot of projects on at the moment and needed another four to add to my collection and not wanting to remortgage my home to pay for them I opted for these given they are a fraction of the price of some others on Amazon.No reflection on Silverline or the clamps but for some reason Amazon decided to dispatch all four of these as separate parcels and each of them arrived wrapped in a bin liner which offered no protection so I expected them to be damaged as a result of the lack of packaging but they stood up well to the delivery process even with no protection so I am really impressed at that.All four of the clamps are nice and straight, they look and feel well made and they work beautifully so definitely very pleased with my purchase.So far they have been used to glue up edge to edge pine, oak and walnut and they deliver a impressive clamping force that is even / equal across the wood. I would even admit that these are easier to use that some of my clamps that cost four times the price of these so I really am staggered at how good these clamps are.
