I recently installed a new set of locks on my house. I like the look of this little lock as it fit the aesthetic of my new door handles.The most important thing to know is that these are rekeyable. I won't post how to here, there are very detailed instructions on how to install the lock and then how to rekey it so that you only need one key not a whole ring of them.Installation is not straightforward. There are certain things you need to make sure you are doing right or else your lock won't work.1. On the side of the housing for the mortice latch, it tells you proper orientation of the lock so you don't install it upside down. Yes it can be installed upside down - but it won't work.2. It can be done by one person. I installed all of mine without help, but having someone to help hold the exterior piece in place while trying to attach the inside section to it, can help a lot.3. Maybe this should have been number 1, but make sure you line up the door latch with your placement of the receiver hole in the door frame. Somehow I lined mine up on the first door completely by accident.This is a solid material build quality. The housing is steel but there's a brass housing inside the steel box. It keeps the entire assembly centered in the drilled hole for the lock.

Are they highest security…. No, but it’s a 1” throw deadbolt. Not too shabby for the price. But I’ve been using them for years with no problems. They are easy to install and rekey. They are built to the same quality as another big brand. The finish holds up well. Just hope I get 20 years out of these like the previous set. Only changed them out because the brass look didn’t fit my new paint color.

This was so easy to install. I was able to install it in under 10 minutes. So far, no issues! Sometimes it sticks a little bit, but it’s likely due to the humidity and heat of the summer.

Looks fine, and works well enough, little bit of a tight fit with the key I switched it to, but I think that suckers just a wee bit fatter. Docking a point cause it didn't come with an install guide like stated.

Worked fantastically!!! Was able to make it the same key as the front door... Was exatatic!!! And didn't take super long either!
