PILOTG2 Limited Premium Gel Roller Pen, Fine Point 0.7 mm, Rose Gold Barrel, Black Ink

I recently had the opportunity to try out this pen, and overall, it offers a mix of impressive features and a few areas for improvement.Starting with the positives, the pen boasts excellent quality and delivers a smooth writing experience. It feels like a premium product, thanks to its solid weight and classy matte black metal design, which adds a touch of sophistication to any desk setup.However, there are some durability concerns. While the metal construction gives the pen a sturdy feel, I encountered issues with the clicker mechanism breaking after only a few uses. Additionally, the grip has mixed reviews; although it complements the sleek aesthetic, it’s not entirely metal and can feel a bit loose, which might affect comfort during extended writing sessions.When it comes to value for money, opinions are divided. Some users find it worth the investment due to its elegant design and writing performance, while others believe the cost doesn’t align with its durability issues.In conclusion, this pen is a stylish and smooth-writing instrument that excels in appearance and initial performance but may fall short in long-term durability and grip comfort for some users.

A bit more expensive than I would’ve liked to have paid for one single decent pen, but it works well

I bought two of these in the past year to use with Uni Jetstream SXR-7 ballpoint refills. It has nice weight and a very nice grip. I have decided though not to buy any more of these until the price is under $7. The Zebra Sarasa Grand, also heavy brass, will also hold my favorite refill, and isnow only $10 for three! It would be nice if we could get the G2 Limited at 3 for $10. The Uni Alpha Gel ballpoint pen is also a nice weight and comes with the SXR-7 refill installed. It is only around $8. That currently seems like a much better buy than the G2 Limited. I also previously bought the G2 pro and regular G2. While the G2 pro is a step up from tdvhe regular G2, it is far from the G2 Limited in weight.

I’ve had this for a while now. After months, still writes smooth without skipping.

I’m a little disappointed. It says it is a premium metal pen. However the only metal on it is the clip. The shaft of the pen is just a matte black plastic. I was hoping it would be a full metal pen.It looks good and is comfortable grip. And of course it has the G2 gel ink that I really like. I changed out the pilot G2 0.7mm it had with a pilot G2 1.0mm because I like the thicker bold look to my writing.Unless you really want the matte black look, I’d say you might as well save a few bucks and get the standard G2 pen. The ink in both are still the same.

This pen writes like a dream — smooth, no skipping, and the black ink is bold and consistent every time. The rose gold barrel looks stunning and instantly elevates your desk or planner. It has the weight and feel of a premium pen but with the reliability of a classic G2.I reach for this every day — whether I’m charting notes at work or journaling at night. If you’re a pen snob (like me), or just want something that feels good to write with, grab this. You’ll never go back to basic pens again.
