and this one seems to be of very good quality (though I'll reserve my final decision for when ...
My order arrived quickly and as described. The actual product consists of three layers: a thin, clear protective layer, the actual faux carbon fiber vinyl, and a white paper backing. When unrolling the product, you'll find that the product will want to spring back into the curled form quite aggressively, so much so that the clear film will crinkle and separate from the vinyl in places. Don't worry, as this is completely normal and the vinyl is what is important, not the film or backing. The vinyl itself was very impressive. I've worked with quite a few vinyl appliques, and this one seems to be of very good quality (though I'll reserve my final decision for when it's been on the car for an extended period). Application was straightforward and I found that I could get away with applying it to fairly complex parts without having to resort to window film spray, though on larger pieces I would definitely recommend it. Once the film was in place, some gentle application of heat with a heat gun set it in place and allowed it to conform perfectly to the piece. Running a soft cloth over the surface helped to set it in place and press it into small recesses. In sunlight, this product really stands out. Light will reflect from the "carbon fibers" in a highly realistic fashion. I am exceptionally happy with the look and have high hopes that it remains durable for years to come.

NIce but kinda difficult to install
First of all, this is my first time using VVIVID wraps and first time wrapping my car. This stuff is harder to install because of the Epoxy. Plus I was using this wrap on plastic so it was harder to stick on plastic. This wrap require a heat gun in order for it to be streched into place. I think if it was their other wraps non-epoxy, it would been easier to install. Over all this thing looks amazing once installed onto my car.

Cheaper than carbon fiber but looks just as good
First off got to say I got this specifically because carbon fiber parts for my car are hard to come by and Incredibly expensive so when I saw this stuff with the high gloss I pulled the trigger on it and got a few rolls and I'm very pleased with the results. I did my shifter console plate and my t-tops on my 86 Trans Am and the stuff at first was a little Troublesome to work with but once you get the hang of it and figure out where to start and where to work to it goes fairly easily especially since it's not like window tint where once it's stuck at you're done you can actually pull it up and retry and refitted a few times and applying heat to it helps Flex it around Troublesome curves you just have to know what spots to hit the heat with and what spots not to otherwise it will contract and expand in the wrong places and then you'll end up getting a crease and it will stick to itself. And then with the larger role that I had that was five foot by 6 foot I took on wrapping a fiberglass hatch and came out looking like it was bought as a molded carbon fiber hatch , took about 3 hours but if you're patient there is literally no limit to what you can do with this stuff . Make sure you got a good quality heat gun don't use it too much in one spot and have a really really sharp razor blade

Seriously impressed
I've never liked vinyl carbon fiber, it always looks very fake and cheap. However, I really wanted some trim pieces in my car to be carbon fiber. I searched around and stumbled on this product. I decided to give it a go, along with 3 other brands and I would simply pick whichever I liked best. I had never heard of VVIVID before so I wasn't expecting too much. Holy cow was I wrong. As soon as I took all the vinyls out of the box, I immediately knew which one to use. This stuff looks great, it has depth and reflects light more like carbon. I was so impressed with the looks that I packed up all the rest and sent them back. I just spent the past few hours wrapping some trim pieces with it. It is quite a bit thicker than most other vinyls, so it will definitely take some heat to get it to do what you want. Some people say it doesn't stick, but they must not have watched the companies installation videos on how to activate the adhesives. It is designed not to be too sticky at first so you can reposition it easily, then you activate the adhesives with heat according to their instruction. I had no problem getting it to fit very complex curves and corners. It seems to stick very well. IMO, you need to get the "VVIVID Epoxy High Gloss Black Carbon fiber", their other carbons dont look as great as this does. All in all, I liked the end result so much that I logged onto Amazon at 1 am to write this review. :D

Looks good, hard to work with
Fairly thick, not specifically good for tight turns and curves. If you have large flat places to stick this it will work great.

Would not stick
It didn’t stick to anything. No matter how well it was cleaned and de greased, it just would not hold. Waste of money.

Must read for beginners. This vinyl is amazing.
I have used this carbon vinyl along with so many others to compare, Scott elemento 6 and the tech art gloss, 3m Dinoc, oracal, etc... Don’t listen to people who say this vinyl isn’t good. It’s all user error. There’s an art to application, it is very thick but it can conform to curvy surfaces and hard to wrap pieces. The adhesion is not an issue. Use a clean microfiber and isopropyl alcohol, minimize dust. Clean all the edges and everywhere you think you wouldn’t even touch. If you’re wrapping interior trim, take it out of the car. Take your time, make sure you have a fresh blade at all times. Do not overheat it.Peel the protective layer off the top. The vinyl really pops when it is applied to curved surfaces. When you lay it down, don’t tack down a spot until you are ready to apply “glass”. Watch CK wraps for tips to make your vinyl wrapping experience better. This has fantastic air egress. Hit it quickly with the heat gun and use the squeegee to flatten it, do not flatten “fingers” or you’ll get wrinkles, rookie mistake.I did the entire C5 s6 trim for $22. You can’t beat the depth and gloss of this stuff. DO NOT USE IT OUTSIDE. It’s for indoor use only!

Sticker had bubbles one month after applied .
Carbon fiber looks good however after one month the adhesive started to bubble so looks like junk now. This was used on an interior plastic piece, heated with a heat gun and looked good when first installed. I suppose it would bubble quicker if the outside temperature was even warmer than it is now.

Good product
Only giving this 4 stars from r now as I just used some on a few interior parts of my truck. We Will see how it holds up. If it holds up well we’ll definitely be back to upgrade to 5 stars. Product is very easy to work with. I’m a first timer on wrapping and it went pretty well. Has to do some parts a few times has my hand slipped and I over cut the vinyl. The product stretches very well as long as you add some heat. This is the cheapest way to see if you have what it takes to wrap. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested.
