Superb watch at a fantastic price!
The media could not be loaded. My old automatic Seiko watch had started to lose periods of 10 mins 3-4 times a day. After speaking to a watch fanatic friend of mine (who has 64 watches and knows EVERYTHING about them) he advised me that it was probably time to get a new one.Out of all the watches he owns, he pointed me towards this one for multiple reasons:1. It’s a great price2. It’s properly waterproof - not like my seiko3. It’s got a sapphire display4. It’s battery powered so is always accurate and will always be on time - even if left in a drawer for a while5. It’s got a fantastic blue lume6. It’s a great size - not too big, not too small7. The finish is fantastic all aroundAfter he’d shown me all of his watches, I agreed that this one probably the best one for me. Boy, that decision was the right one! This watch is fantastic. It looks great, it feels great, it comes superbly packaged in its own box and it’s supremely accurate!I did have a slight downer on the original delivery as the indices were slightly off centre, but I sent it back and got this perfect replacement with no fuss whatsoever. In summary: A superb watch at a fantastic price. I expect that this will now last me forever - it’s so well made. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone and you can even get the blue face version if you want something a bit fancier.

Best value for money dive watch
In my opinion this is the best value for money dive watch you can buy.I have work this watch every day for the last 2 months. The watch came nicely packaged in a Phobios box with instructions and warranty card. It was heavier than expected when I first picked it up and it felt and looked like a quality item. The dial is black with good looking hands and a well placed Cyclops with good magnification. The 120 click bezel turns easy, but not so easy that it will turn by accident, and there is no play whatsoever. The screw down crown feels very nice and although I have not been swimming or anything with this watch, I have accidently work it in the shower and put in a full sink and had absolutely no problems.I have very small wrists and after removing all links bar one, and putting the fine adjustment pin on the smallest setting the watch fits very comfortably and does not look to large or out of place. The clasp is solid and shuts satisfyingly with no worry that it will come off by accident. The Swiss moment is very good and after 2 months of wearing it has gained just under 1 second. It also has hacking, a clear date (black on whjte) and a watertight screw down crown. The only negative comment I have for this watch is the lume is not super bright. This may be because it is often covered as it is currently winter, as when left under a light for an hour it is easily bright enough to easily tell the time. Even without purposeful charging under light it is still legible when dark.Overall I am incredibly pleased with this watch and would not hesitate to buy again if needed.

Wonderful value for money
Having got swept away by the Seiko/Orient modding wave that is around I found myself buying a few Orient Mako II and Seiko SKX007 Automatic watches. The Orient was coming in around £150 and Seiko around the £270-£300 these days. Then you need to modify them to get them how you want them. This means adding a decent strap, new Sapphire Crystal, Hands, Dials, Bezels and Bezel inserts. Hopefully you find you have a nice watch but the cost almost doubles and what you are left with is no better than what you bought. Phiobos gives you everything a modded watch wants to be without the extra outlay. 300 metre waterproofing, Sapphire Crystal, a nice watch band, a really nice case back and crown, solid engineering, the bezel action is amazing and sounds fantastic. It's a seroiusly nice watch for £100. Yes it's quartz but that means you can put it down for a few days and it will still read GMT when you pick it up, with the correct date instead of having to set the thing up or put it in a winder (Yet more outlay) I have never had a compliment waering my Seiko and Orients but got one first time out with the Phiobos. Yeah it's a Submariner Homage but if you are gonna be inspired by a watch design you can't go wrong with the Rolex, it's a massive classic. At the cost it is a no brainer to buy the Phoibos. It keeps excellent time, looks great, in fact it screams quality and it keeps going. The battery when it needs replacing will probably only be a couple of quid and if you have never changed a battery it's simple to do. I'm getting another soon, shame they are difficult to source, they fly off the website and without Amazon I wouldn't have found this one, shame they don't stock the full range. It's a great watch and I own, Omega. Brietling and a Rolex. I'm proud to wear mine.

Great watch at outstanding value for money
I have been looking for a replacement (cheap) watch with reliable water resistance for some time and after a lot of research came up with the Phoibos. To find a watch with a Saphire Crystal glass face, 316L stainless bracelet with safety and waterproof to 30ATM/300m for around £100 is an almost impossible task. All the competition are lacking one of the criteria. Waterproof to 10ATM (don't bother), Lightweight metal bracelet, poor bevel alignment or just plain acrylic or mineral face.I have an 8" wrist (larger than average) and the watch fitted straight out of the box. It is a really healthy weight and feels like it should be 5 times the price. A crisp 120 click unidirectional bevel that lines up with the 12 perfectly. I have done a few things with water on the watch, showering, submerged in buckets of water for various things but I have yet to dive, swim or snorkel as yet. I will only use it for swimming and snorkelling and I have every confidence it will fit the bill. The Lume has been improved apparently and is no better or worse than my Omega Seamaster. All in all a real competitor and at that price you really can't go wrong. Accurate time keeper and so comfortable to wear. I am very impressed.
