Great product at a great price!

Tools work OK, but no spare bits as in the picture. Also, one of the tools is 5/8" as in the picture. Why do they put a 5/8" in with tools that are 1/2"? Won't fit in my tool holder.

Was kinda nervous on these but they are nice for the price, the inserts work good on soft steel but once have better quality insert bars are great

I have a 100 year old lathe that I got working, but did not have any modern cutting tools for it. This kit of seven tools is pretty amazing at this price point.Each of the tool holder come in its own individual plastic slip case. The come with the proper tool to install and adjust the cutter tip for the tools. All of the individual cutters were in a separate plastic snap case.The tool holders are steel with a nice black finish. They should clamp into the holder on my ancient lathe. I like this style as you can just flip the cutter over to get to a new cutting edge surface.Nice set of lathe tools. Recommended.

This is a good selection of carbide insert cutters at a great price. That being said don't expect premium carbide at this price. The holders work well. No information is provided with this selection as to which inserts go with which holder, but it is not difficult to figure out. The bottom of the product listing does provide information on the carbide insert type for each cutter. I will copy this information and keep with the tools so I will know what insert I need to order for replacements. Otherwise, there are lots of inserts that look similar and finding the correct insert for the cutter may be difficult down the road. I am pleased with these cutters, but I haven't yet stress them with hard materials.

Unless you’re lathe ing something very soft don’t waste you $. Stainless is soft in my opinion. I’d forget about if for mild steel! Complete junk and won’t return for the hassle.

Slightly mis-lead. The pictures show the holders with an insert installed, and a set of inserts in a container. This lead me to believe I was getting a spare set of inserts. I should've read further.
