Bought an older truck without all the modern features. I quickly realized that I really missed my Backup camera. Since I did not want to spend 400 dollars or more on a touch screen stereo and camera. I started looking for a different option.I searched here on Amazon and found this little gem. It had a great price and was wireless, so I did not have to run cable the entire length of my truck. If you want it to come on in reverse, you need to wire it to the backup light, but that is a short easy run. You have the option to hardwire the monitor or plug it into the cigarette lighter. I have went the lighter route now, but intend to hard wire.The installation was quick and easy. You have multiple options for mounting the monitor, and plenty of cable to mount about any where.The 7” display is amazing and gives clear and sharp picture. I am blown away by how well the camera system works. The hook up was quick and easy. Everything you need is included. You can even add a second camera if you choose.This is a must buy if you are looking for a backup camera. Dollar for dollar you will not find one better or nicer.

The Amtifo A19 would make a good addition to any vehicle that does not have a factory installed backup camera. In my case, I installed it on a 2010 Ford Fusion.Installation is fairly straight forward. Amtifo includes all parts needed for installation. The manual references a YouTube video that covers installation and operation details. It can be installed either as a backup-only device or a full-time rear view system. Installed as a backup-only device requires powering the camera from the backup light wiring. For those vehicles that mount the license plate to the vehicle body, this is relatively easy. In the case of the Fusion that mounts the license plate on the trunk lid, installation becomes a bit more difficult due to wire routing issues. When installed as a continuous rear view camera, a source of ignition switch controlled power is needed. Display mounting options include both suction cup windshield mount and dash mount (which can be secured with the provided adhesive pad or a bean bag device). Display power can be either hard wired or provided from a lighter-type accessory socket. The system has the option for an optional second camera. Not sure how this would be used in back-up mode, but perhaps it would be useful in some form of surveillance setup.The display is clear, bright and sharp. It has a fairly wide viewing angle. My initial feeling is the viewing angle is wider than necessary and could be reduced a bit. The display does not have a sunshade which would be nice to reduce sun glare. When used as a backup camera, there is a slight delay in image display as the display boots up. While noticeable, this delay is not excessive. This is not an issue if used as an always-on rear view device.The display has the capability of showing guidelines at the user's option. These guidelines can be adjusted in width, height and lateral location to accommodate individual installations. They can also be turned off, if not desired. The display can also be reversed (flipped) and inverted depending on application.The signal from the camera is strong showing maximum signal, so there is no concern of random disconnects.Good performance at a good price.

Installation was a breeze. This offers a very clear and sharp Video. Excellent, both day and night time. Even in the rain.

It seems like a quality product for the price. I like the larger screen, which is much easier to see when backing up. I installed this on a Nissan Armada after the backup sensors went out. I didn't try to power the camera through the sensors but just went to the backup lights. It was much cheaper and nicer than repairing/replacing the sensors.

I have a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country that I use as a work truck. I was looking for a backup camera as there are many blind spots when the truck is loaded. I ordered this AMTIFO unit and I received it in just two days. The packaging was amazing and everything needed, even wire connectors, was included in the kit. It was quick to install, but it did take a little thought to connect it to the backup lights. I was able to run the camera power cable through the grommet that the license plate light wire is routed through. If you want to connect the camera to the license plate light, it might be easier, but you have to turn on your lights (or parking) to power the camera. The video signal from the camera is through Wi-Fi to the monitor. I was determined to have it work with the backup lights, so I routed the camera power wire through the inside tailgate panel and down through the door seal to the left interior side panel. I turned on the backup lights and then used a 12V test light to find the correct wire going to the tail light assembly. With the included snap-on connectors, it took only seconds to gain the power to the camera unit. The monitor is fantastic, with great resolution in both day and night mode, and comes with multiple methods to attach to the dash or windshield. I used the suction cup assembly for the windshield and powered the unit from the 12V power connector in the vehicle. The video signal has no issues and the monitor comes on immediately and syncs when powered up. I can now feel safe backing up when I cannot see through the back of the vehicle and am now going to order a second unit for my pickup and RV since this was such a success.
