🛡️ Protecting your little cub, one diaper at a time!
Mama Bear diapers are designed to be gentle, soft and secure to keep your cub comfy and dry. Our absorbent, quilted core and pocketed-back waistband guard fiercely against leaks for up to 12 hours, while the wetness indicator shows when it’s time for a change. Our diapers are soft, breathable, hypoallergenic, and free of fragrances, elemental chlorine and natural rubber latex to help protect sensitive skin and coddle your cub.Let’s talk fit: Weight ranges detailed on our packaging and product pages are provided as guidelines, and overlap from size to size. We recognize that children of the same weight can differ significantly in contour and shape, and another size may fit your child better resulting in greater comfort and protection against leaks. If your cub is near the beginning of the weight range, you may want to consider a smaller size, or, if they are near the end of a recommended weight range, you may want to try the next size up. Try them today. If you don’t love them, we’re happy to refund your purchase.

Favorite Mid-Level Diapers.
I am comparing Mama Bear Diapers (size 5 in all brands) to Huggies Snug & Dry and Pampers Baby Dry. I have used all different brands/models of diapers: Honest, Babyganics, Target (Up & Up), Luvs, Kirklands, Pampers Swaddlers, and Huggies Little Snugglers. I chose to compare Huggies Snug & Dry and Pampers Baby Dry to the Mama Bear because I found that it was similar in price, feel, features. I feel that Target, Luvs, and Kirklands are similar to each other and a step/grade below Mama Bear, Huggies Snug & Dry, and Pampers Baby Dry. Honest and Babyganics could be similar to Mama Bear, but I found them more “paper-y” and overall more geared towards being “organic” - whereas Mama Bear seems more similar to Snug & Dry and Baby Dry in feel, price, prints, etc. Finally I personally feel Huggies Little Snugglers and Pampers Swaddlers are a step/grade above the Mama Bear Diapers. Those are more “cloth-like” and pricier.Absorbency:I found that all three of the diapers I am comparing absorb equally well. Using at night after an 8oz bottle I haven’t noticed a difference in the morning on whether the diaper was Huggies Snug & Dry, Pampers Baby Dry, or Mama Bear (I have found certain diapers - mostly Huggies Little Snugglers tend to leak with overnight use).Size:Huggies Snug & Dry and Mama Bear are roughly the same size, whereas Pampers Baby Dry seem slightly longer - but those don’t have the “elastic” back so that may be the reason for the slight increase in size. All the size 5 diapers are made for 27+ pounds.Wetness Indicator:Huggies Snug & Dry and Mama Bear diapers both have the wetness indicator. This is nice for a quick check to see if you need a diaper change. This is not a “necessary” diaper attribute, but I think its nice to have. Pampers Baby Dry does not have this function.Feel:Personally, I think that the Pampers Baby Dry and the Mama Bear diapers feel very similar. They are not cloth-like but not paper-y. So for a mid-level diaper, they feel nice.Prints:Huggies Snug & Dry diapers are bold! The print can often be seen though clothes, which isn’t my favorite. The muted colors of Pampers Baby Dry and Mama Bear are visually pleasing and less often seen though clothes. Mama Bear does come in solid white - which IS AWESOME!!!!Tabs:Pampers Baby Dry has a much bigger and seemingly more comfortable tab area when compared to Huggies and Mama Bear.“Elastic” Back:Both Huggies Snug & Dry and Mama Bear have a scrunched “elastic” back to the diaper which is helpful with fit and keeping any “blow-outs” at bay. Pampers Baby Dry has a straight back.Overall:I think Mama Bear wins when compared to Pampers Baby Dry and Huggies Snug & Dry, but only slightly better. Mama Bear wins because they have the best of both Huggies Snug & Dry and Pampers Baby Dry. I love that the Mama Bear diapers have the elastic back and wetness indicator like Huggies Snug & Dry, and are soft inside and out like Pampers Baby Dry. Mama Bear also wins over the competitors because they have the option to come in bland white. I chose the print, because I don’t really care either way, but sometimes the diaper prints can show though baby clothing and looks funny. So if price continues to be comparable, I will continue to buy Mama Bear Diapers.*** Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Please let me know if you found it to be helpful by clicking the “helpful” button below. Thank you again!!! ***Update: 12/4/18I’ve been using these diapers for months as a comparable diaper cost-wise to my Pampers Baby Dry. The last box of MamaBear diapers I received was slightly defective. The “elastic” that runs the length of the diaper on both left and right was too “tight” and would pull the top of the front of the diaper down, this made securing the diaper significantly more difficult. This was the only box out of more than half a dozen that has had any issue. Additionally, I brought this to Amazons attention and as usual I received great customer service correcting this issue.

Great Value and Comfort!
The Mama Bear Best Fit Diapers in size 4 have been a fantastic choice for my baby. They are soft, absorbent, and provide a snug, comfortable fit. I love the bears print design, and the diapers hold up well during the day and night without any leaks. The 144 count in the pack gives great value, and the quality is comparable to other premium brands. Definitely recommend these diapers for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable option!

Great quality
I have been a Luvs diaper buyer with all 3 of my children but when I bought a pack the other day, I noticed they changed them. The diapers were now thin and scratchy and I knew I had to change. So I bought different kinds of Pampers & Huggies, Seventh Generation, Up & Up, Hello Bello, you name it and I've tried it... and found something wrong with all of them or they were just too expensive. I then decided to give the Mama Bear diapers a try and I am not disappointed! Soft diapers are important to me and these diapers have fluffy padding and a soft feel cover. They are not paper thin like some other brands. The design is super cute, but are also sold in white if you're not into it. The back of the diaper is cinched and stretchy to allow for a snug and comfortable fit and the elastic around the legs keeps everything in. The absorbent layer also goes all the way up the back whereas other brands stop mid way. I would say the sizing on these is sort of like Huggies brand. In Luvs my 11 month old was a size 4 at about 19 lbs. I bought a size 4 in Mama Bear and they are just a bit too large. The only thing I can maybe complain about with Mama bear is that the tabs tend to allow the front to slip on the sides. Instead of having the full front of the diaper held up from side to side on the hips, the sides of the front panel kind of slip down- hard to explain but experienced diaperers will know what I mean. Also, I liked the way some other diapers would feel when wet. Obviously you change your baby's diapers when wet, but in the meantime it's nice when it's not like a brick between their legs. When this filling gets wet it's not as squishy as some other brands- but not as hard as others. All in all, for the price per diaper it is slightly lower than brand name competitors especially if you do the subscribe and save. They can also be auto shipped to your house every month so it's one less thing to think about. If you're on the fence, I'd say try it! I'm super picky and these diapers have passed the test!
