Rich, chocolaty, and smooth they produce a great tasting coffee which is consistent. We grind them to use in our Gaggia espresso machine, they are not oily and do not gum up our grinder. We have ordered many times, they are well worth the money and I would recommend.

I bought a kg of each of the 3 Harboryam beans. There wasn't a bad one in them, and very good coffee for the price. They all have a Neopolitan style roast. So distinctive from a typical Illy or Lavazza flavour. Earthier, smokier, intense - but not bitter. Of the three these were the premium beans, 100% Aribica and definitely the smoothest. A very pleasant drink, with good crema and a gentle subtlety in the taste. You could drink this throughout the day, but if you want a morning kick start you might want to try one of their blends with Robusta. I will buy Harboryam again as a change to my usual Lavazza blue bag beans, and it will probably be these that I buy. Everyone who has tried them here likes them.

Before we bought this one we tried other cheap ones but the quality was not that great but we said to try a variety of beans for the new machine, the first one we had was weak in strenght but we had to try it. We then said to try this one and let me tell you the value for money is so good. Its makes amazing quality coffee and if you add a bit of caramel it adds more flavour. It will wake you up for sure.

Bought these beans a couple of days ago and think they are excellent. Great taste and smell, with a nice mild flavour. I don't really leave too many reviews unless it's something I can really get behind. It's good to support smaller companies who have a great product and value for money, and this is one of them. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this coffee! Just the aroma of the beans is a feel good factor; it cheers and wakes you up. The taste is rich and full-bodied, and considering the price, which is very reasonable, this small, family business is providing a product that can easily hold its own, when compared with the more expensive coffee beans. The idea of placing the coffee beans in a hessian sack is a winner. Have to end here; my coffee is ready. 10/10.

Mixed feelings about this. Immediately opening the bag, the beans did not smell good. Debagged into my usual air-purgeable coffee containers, things started to smell better. Took 14g and ground for V60 (Mazzer Super Jolly - MSJ). Good results, low-acidity, decent body and flavour, definitely works for filter 🙂 Test 2: 24g into a Bomber-Basket, again via the MSJ super-fine/espresso grind. Shot pull was a 'lungo'; 70ml in 70s. I wanted to see if a long pull resulted in a bitter coffee, it did NOT. So, the lungo was full of flavour, not bitter, no acidity, silky mouth feel, good amount of crema (but then I have a decent grinder and espresso machine - Elektra MCSA). Final test was 30g in a Bialleti Moka pot, induction hob using 300ml of water. Fair results, minimal crema, good body and balanced flavour. Negatives - I don't want a best before date on my coffee, whether it is good or bad, it won't be around long enough. I want to know when the coffee was roasted ! I imagine that the reason the roasting date is omitted is because these beans are at least 3 months on from their roast (would love to hear from the owners/sellers proving me wrong). This is a better buy without the hessian sack (obviously). Are there better coffees out there? Yes, but they will also most likely cost more. Saying that, I've always like the thought of people treading their own path in the coffee world, so I like to support independent coffee resellers (assuming the blurb about the owners isn't some Ai generated piece 🤣). TLDR - Super good enough for either V60, Moka-Pot or Espresso. No surprises, this isn't a sophisticated fruity light roast. This is a no-nonsense decent bean, medium/dark roast which really suits it. It's clean tasting without any bitterness. If all you have been used to is burnt $tarbucks/Co$ta crap or even worse 'instant' coffee flavoured water, this coffee will be a welcome change for the better. Enjoy it's no-frills honesty 👍😋
