Harbinger Down - Das Grauen lauert im Eis (FSK 16 Jahre) Blu-Ray

If you're a lover of practical effects this is well worth a watch although it does not quite fulfil the aim of being a showcase due to budgetary constraints. Check out the reviews of the DVD (released in the UK as "Inanimate") if you want to know more about the film. As far as this bluray goes it is UK compatible and much superior to the DVD, it has the right aspect ratio whereas the DVD is grainy, badly zoomed to 16:9 and cuts off the tops of people's heads. This version is all correct and is the edition to get.

I was slightly Really miffed when I tried to play this DVD in my Multi-Region, "Usually-Plays-Anything", Top-of-the-line Samsung Blue-ray / DVD / CD / VCD etc - Player... only to see a message pop up on the TV screen to say that this disc was not recognized - or could not play disc - or some similar-sounding tosh. Then again, slightly miffed is an understatement - hence the reason for a meagre one-star and a totally Negative review - of what should have been an entertaining movie. Cpme on ALL you DVD sellers - if a DVD definitely WON'T play in a particular region, DON'T SELL IT TO ANYONE IN THAT REGION ...!!! This is not rocket science and merely requires an IQ in double figures to manage...

One thing I hate in any horror movie is C.G.I and this movie is full it. Total Bollocks. Nuff Said
