Way better than carpenters pencils.
So much better than those square carpenters pencils. The only thing is the sharpener part is VERY small and takes a while to sharpen. Other than that, a very good purchase.

Decent but almost a trash pencil
It's decent for writing but the lead breaks constantly inside the pencil shaft , it takes forever for the lead to come out unless you shake it hard, the nosing always unloosens in your pocket too

For marking lumber
Tried to find leads for an old mechanical pencil. Apparently they no longer make that size. As this was not too expensive and came with leads, I figured my husband would be happy to have something to use to continue his many projects. He was pleased and likes the size and feel of the pen and thick leads. Works great for his projects and repairs around the house.

Great pen but one fatal flaw
So the features and usability of this pencil are great! Sturdy lead, good weight, good handability, and a built in pencil sharpener. However, the fault arrives with the rear end of the pencil. It seems like a small o-ring should keep the back-end dial all snug together with the housing. It may just be a one-off with the product that I received but when pulling the pencil out of my pocket, the back end and o-ring just pull right off. So for that reason I have docked stars in the review.

ショートボディーにすればもっと需用がある
造りもしっかりしていて、国産の2mm芯もきちっと合います。残念なのは三菱ユニフィールドのボディーにロングニブを足したようなデザインなのでとても長いです。ポケットに無理矢理入れていると、ニブが当たる部分でポケットに穴が空いてしまいます。たくみ ノック式鉛筆 2.0 2B NO.7782 ぐらいのショートボディーにロングニブを取付けたら完璧です。

La rosca de unión de la parte plástica con la metálica no coinciden
Lo peor, al pulsar el botón, se separaba la parte metálica de la plástica, al no coincidir los pasos de rosca o estar muy gastada la del plástico, lo he tenido que resolver metiendo un celo entre ambas, para que entre a presión en lugar de a rosca. Los materiales están de acordé con el precio del producto y no tengo quejas de momento.

Petit défaut: il ne reste pas dans la poche
Très bien conçu à un détail près: il ne tient pas sagement dans la poche, il a une fâcheuse tendance à tomber dès qu'on se penche, ce qui conduit à casser la mine (et potentiellement à le perdre).En effet il est plus long qu'un stylo normal, et l'attache est souple et arrondie. J'ai tenté de la raidir un peu, mais ça glisse quand même.Bref, ça peut tenir sur un bleu de travail, mais c'est incompatible avec une poche de chemise, or les ingés portent souvent une chemise même quand ils font des travaux manuels.Il va falloir que je trouve une astuce...
