Good product but poor instructions. Good support service
I bought this CarPlay for my Lexus ES300h 2016. It’s easy to install following a YouTube clip. The product is good but the instruction of the installation and setup is very poor and not professionally written. The pin setup for my car is not listed in the instruction. I had to email service support team to get it.Google map doesn’t play sound via CarPlay and could not find help from YouTube clips. It was resolved after email service support again. The service support team is very helpful and provided responses promptly.

Installed into 2018 Lexus LX570
Install was not overly hard but took me about 2 hours being very slow and methodical. I could probably do it again in in 45 minutes.Unit works well and functions like it should. It took me a little to figure out the sound balancing and routing of the Bluetooth for calls. My wife is still struggling with it some.Display is great, functions great, very nice upgrade and it gave my car exactly what it was missing.

Much needed upgrade!
Great product and great customer service. I used a car audio tech to have this installed. Works really well. The only concern has been that the microphone audio has not been that great.

The worst’s Customer Service and fake Advertisement
I bought this kit to make the CarPlay functions on my OEM Lexus Nav Screen, my Car it’s a Lexus LX570 2015 it’s supposed to be compatible with it, that’s what it’s says on the description but it’s not , the plugs are different the customer service was unexpected considering it’s a good brand, just No recommend to buy it, just a waste of money.

It works!
At first I was skeptical about picking this up, as the popular choice for these decoders for my gs350 costed upwards of $700. I took the gamble, and I'm glad I spent less than half of what I would have. Now, installation can be easy or it can be a headache depending on your experience. For me, it wasn't hard it was just time consuming and at some points difficult to understand. This was my first time taking out a radio/screen, but I found some youtube videos on similar decoders and used that with the manual to figure it out. There are some cables that needed to be used on certain models, in my case I had to use the joystick one for my 2014 gs350. For whatever reason after installation I had a flickering line at the bottom, but I messaged the seller for update files and the update fixed it!I decided to not even mess with the audio cables and just used the cars OEM bluetooth, there is a setting in the decoder menu to use it.All in all it was worth the hours it took me to install it as a newbie, it connects and works the way it should. The joystick can be a bit finicky at times, but it was like that in the OEM system so I can't fault this product for it.

Happy to have CarPlay again!
Works well. After watching a few youtube videos on how to install it, installation wasn't too bad. I'm so happy to have Apple CarPlay back! Only minor issues, some static on the bottom occasionally, but it goes away if I toggle to the Lexus screen, then back to the CarPlay screen.

It’s really a 4 star product.
But customer service makes me give it 5 stars. Lexus in their wisdom decided against AA and ACP being native in their 2017 RX 350’s and this is an acceptable solution. The install isn’t hard but know that you must install the joystick cable and if you are going to use AA then you most likely will have some issues with BT connectivity and lagging response in the interface and choppy audio.I’m not instilling a lot of confidence in this am I? Well, if you ask Road Top for help you will receive it and it is good. I managed to work out all these issues with the unit and now I’m as happy as I could be with a unit that lays over the existing interface and is quirky from time to time. There are other units out there and they cost as much as $800 but from what I’ve seen when I listen to reviewers they have the same issues this unit does and, well, price is a consideration at that point so that’s why I bought this.

Challenging Installation and Inadequate Guidance (Detailed Review of My Experience)
I own a 2018 Lexus RX450h F-Sport, which originally didn't come with OEM CarPlay. Considering the underutilization of the screen, I explored retrofit kits and stumbled upon this product. Given that similar products were priced between $600-$800 excluding installation fees, which themselves could exceed $200, the $300 price tag of this kit seemed reasonable.Upon receiving the kit, I was greeted by a box full of wires, necessitating additional tools and reliance on YouTube for disassembly guidance. For those with the same model, I recommend acquiring an auto trim removal tool, a 10mm deep socket with extensions for reaching the central control unit, and screwdrivers. Here are my observations and suggestions:The kit includes two LVDS cables; only one will fit your vehicle, so choose accordingly.Avoid connecting all wires to the decoder immediately; they are tough to disconnect later, and you may need to fit them into tight spaces. Two specific wires, labeled 'joystick extension cable' and 'screen power cable,' should not be connected initially. Install everything else and conduct a trial. If there are issues with the joystick or screen, then consider connecting these.Exercise caution when connecting wires; a bent or damaged pin can prevent proper functioning. If you require technical support, plan to work on the installation during nighttime hours due to the support team operating on Chinese Standard Time (9 AM - 6 PM CST).Ultimately, I couldn't successfully install the kit without it affecting my OEM screen, which turned purple when in CarPlay mode. Despite numerous attempts and following all support advice, I couldn't resolve the issue.I ended up returning the product. While I'm still considering my options regarding CarPlay, I suggest that if the product fits your vehicle's compatibility and you're willing to take the risk, it might be worth trying. At worst, you can return it. Hopefully, my experiences can provide some insight. Drive safe y'all!
