I don't play lacrosse so I can't review how well they hold up in that sport, but as a foot massage they are amazing! Love them but I do agree with the scent comments. It's very potent at first and smells like the nail shop acrylics. If you're sensitive to scents this would probably be very overwhelming lol, but good thing this ball isn't designed for you to be smelling. Just let it air out from the package and the scent goes away. I love the intergalactic bubblegum colours too :)

My back was broken in three places three years ago after being thrown from a horse. I recovered and can walk by the grace of God, but I am in constant pain due to muscle spasms. I hate taking Advil all the time and I refuse to take pain pills so I use these massage balls when I’m sitting at my desk, I’ll use them on the floor under my back when I’m hanging out with my kids, and even the the relief doesn’t happen right away, within three minutes of taking them off my back it doesn’t hurt anymore.My sister introduced me to myofascial release almost 20 years ago and she used tennis balls. These massage balls are much harder and provide a lot more relief. Try them - you won’t be disappointed. (And, yes, they do smell weird when you first open the package but the smell goes away quickly.)

My physical therapist recommended I get this. He said the ball is the perfect size for rolling on for some areas. He was right. I have no idea of its quality as far as Lacrosse balls go, but for my purpose it's perfect.
