I needed a nine inch cake pan so I did a search for the best one. Wilton is a reputable brand in baking so it was an easy choice for me. I only needed one pan but in the past when I have bought one I later find another recipe that calls for two, so this set was fine for me. Wilson pans are nice and heavy, really well made, wash up great, and are worth the money. I used to live next door to a friend who was a Wilton cake decorating instructor. I loved watching her decorate cakes for samples for her classes. She had just about every Wilton cake pan and decorating supplies. I learned from her that Wilton is the best.
