The Bees-knees but costly and slowly delivered
If you are after a CAT for civilian use then this is the one. Why buy cheaper than the genuine article, if you need this critical life saving item then a cheap knockoff might work but, I mean, really? Why risk? The orange is bright orange, and strap a good width, it feels strong and you know on handling it it will simply work. it comes in a plastic shrink wrap with instructions, get it out that wrap and store in an accessible way, time is critical.So why only 4 stars? This is a pricey item but not stocked by Amazon in uk, they get sent over individually on order from the US. First aid suppliers stock in uk and sell it cheaper but you will need to pay postage- as a prime customer it made sense for me to buy Amazon but it was a tough call.I hope never ever to use this, but If you want a TQ simply to be a poser, knowing you will for sure never use one you might want something cheaper. If there is the slightest thought that you may need it for real then get this.Either way please go on a first aid course.

Weak unit, dangerous
I bought several of these to pass out to hiking colleagues. I tried using one on myself and the stitching pulled apart - absolutely useless. So I tried a second one, and guess what? Yup the stitching again pulled apart. Only fit for the bin........ someone's health could be seriously compromised if reliance is placed on this device. Not impressed.
