Great replacement temporary stopper

I can't tell you how many bathroom sinks, sooner or later the stopper came off the metal bar under the sink that lets it move up and down. No more do I have to remove everything under the sink for my husband to try to connect it again. This pop-up stopper was a breeze to put in. It was so easy to push the top of the stopper to open or close. I'm thinking about giving one to everyone for Christmas. They will thank me, one day. Plus, my husband was amazed. He thought I changed the whole drain. Who am I to tell him? nope.Months have gone by and I wanted to update. When the water starts to go down slowly that means this drain strainer is full of Hair. Just lift the strainer up and pull out the hair. Throw the hair in the garbage.Put the de-clogged drain strainer back in and water goes down with lightning speed. Voila!

This drain stopper was the least expensive compared to other similar products. Compared to another similar replacement drain plug I bought this was half the price. This plug does drain a lot slower because of the design at the lower end being able to catch more debris ie. hairThat can be a plus or minus depending how you look at it but I noticed that it does not take a lot to clog it up so this might need to be cleaned more often.One other downside is that the white rubber gasket does not have a dent in the actual plug to help keep it from slipping causing a poor seal and the plug not holding water. This can be worked around by moving the gasket a bit closer to the bottom before pushing the plug into the drain. The other plug which was double the cost has this feature which made leaks more unlikely after install.Long term I will probably fix the old drain plug and treat this as a quick temp fix.

Very slow draining

This sink stopper fits perfectly in my sink! It is easy to install. I like that you can push down to plug the sink. It is a great value especially because you get 2! It is very functional to trap hair and looks great.

I really like this stopper at first, but the middle section fell thru into my drain after 4 months.

I like them work well

Was very happy it caught random hair strands where I was able to clean them out easily. It does take a few seconds for all the water to go down as there's a small gap, but it doesn't bother me too much. The button to stop water did kind of work, but does not stop water from going down the drain. It's not noticeable if you need to keep water for a short time, but eventually all the water will go down without unclicking the button.
