This tent is well made! It for perfect on my 2020 Jeep. The zipper was the same as I've used on most tents... because be careful with it, and it should last. The size was perfect, and I loved having the awning in the back - it function well to keep the Sun out of the back of the vehicle. I would recommend this product, I find it to be a great value for my money. I am an avid SUV camper, and this is a game changer!Set up is super fast and easy, so if you have to go somewhere it's no big deal - just stuff it in the back and go and set it up again when you return to your site.If it's going to be windy, I do recommend some sandbags for the bottom of the poles.

Easy install and removal by myself. Packs back up easily into the bag. Recommend the poles. Easy in and out, although it is a little reach for the zipper. Had a light rain and stayed dry under the awning. Even had other campers stop by to take a look!

Overall good quality and relative ease of use. Not impressed by the extending awning with tie-downs. As you increase tension, it can pull the trunk down. This is especially inconvenient if you have an automatic tailgate still engaged. It also doesn’t provide much shade/room for adults.Worked well on the Outback, so it should work with most wagons/hatchbacks. Did not work on the Element, which has a fold down portion of the tailgate, as well as a lifting section. This causes too little tailgate to make a proper canopy/tent, the way it is designed.

Fits my 2020 Subaru Forester. Nice product for the price point. It was really easy to set up on my own as a petite woman. I bought poles and this withstood about 15mph winds all weekend without any issues, the guyline tensioners made it easy to tighten the canopy lines if they got loose (only did this once all weekend in the wind) . I might buy magnets so there isn’t a gap near the tail light. I didn’t have any bugs get in (and it was a really buggy camp ground), but it wasn’t always taught against the car. This was perfect for keeping the afternoon sun off. Really happy with the product.

I do Iove this! It has made car camping much more fun. I Love that it has the side openings as it makes it feel less enclosed. The only thing I didn't consider about those side windows is that it makes it useable to keep open in the rain. I wish it had zip up sides so you can keep it up and open during light rains.I am also considering punching holes on the underside of the car, as water seems to pool, and drainage holes would alleviate that issue... These small vimprovements would make this an incredible must have product for car camping. However, I still reccomend this above all others I have seen. It looks great and works great.

Its so easy to set up and break down! It was perfect for my Subaru Crosstrek. Used it camping at the Grand Canyon and I loved waking up in the back of the car with the fresh breeze the netting allowed in. One of the best purchases for car camping. Could not recommend this enough! Light weight and easy to pack up.

The media could not be loaded. I finally got a chance to set this up and use it this weekend on my 2024 Subaru Outback. I was nervous because less than an hour after setting it up there was an on and off torrential downpour for about 4 hours. I went back to my car (I took cover in a friends camper) expecting everything in the back to be soaked but it was bone dry! It continued to be rainy and windy all night and I had zero problems with it. The only very minor complaint I would have is that the way the water does drain it pools into the bottom of the tent under the car. A couple little drain holes would easily fix that problem. But otherwise it took about 10 minutes to set up, 2 minutes to take down and easily fit back into the travel bag it came in. I am so excited to do a bunch of camping this summer now that I have such an easy set up.

It was easy to put up. Yes, I put up in my driveway to get the hang. Not bad. I did practice with my tent poles. I also need to refresh my knot skills for the lines .LOL.However, it was defective... The toggle to hold the main bug screen up was missing. Both pieces. Never sew on... Yeh, not good.It is being returned. Another one is being sent. Cross fingers it will be of quality.Using this as shown for car camping. I won't have time to test for rain/wind. Will have tent poles, tarps, extra cord all just in case. Rather be over prepared. Here's to hoping next one is complete. Oh yeah, will need a stuff sack. You can never get things back in manufacturer bag.
