This is a really great lamp - you can turn it on quite dim for evenings so that it gives you a sunset/fireplace vibe without flooding you with brightness that might cause you to wake up. I don't know if it will last well as I just bought it recently but it came very quickly and in great condition. Its easy to screw together although this means that if you wanted to keep carrying it around you might need to reattach and firm things up - I plan to keep it in the one place so for me that doesn't really matter. It has a stable base which is a step above the last sunlamp I had which was incredibly flimsy on its stand and fell over constantly. You can adjust the neck to chose the angle and I love the switch on the cord which means you can adjust the brightness/timer without having to touch the light source itself (which used to be the case for the last 2 sunlamps I used) this means you are never staring directly at the light on its highest setting which you are meant to avoid doing. There is also no weird crackling noise which my last sun lamp used to have - all in all very good quality and at a very reasonable price. Glad I bought this.Edit - I actually bought 2 in different colours so it is making me combine reviews - I will add a note that the green light really does make me feel calmer (I wasn't sure how real this was but for me it has been very effective) I don't get migraines so can't test that but I would definitely try it if I did - great for relaxing after work but not so good for WFH as it makes me sleepy!

I was a little worried when I received this since it wasn't branded 'Trayvespace' at all but carried generic branding on the box and was clearly made in China. However, on opening the box I was actually pleasantly surprised - the item is very well made and was reassuringly heavy and sturdy, with high quality UK plug etc too - it was really well packaged too. I set the lamp up and used a light meter to test the actual light output to see if it matched up to claimed specifications (many lamps don't) and was again really pleasantly surprised - it hits 80,000Lux at zero distance, and 11,000 Lux at a distance of c. 2ft (60cm) which is actually *better* that the claimed 10,000 Lux at 30cm and which is the minimum advised for SAD lamps. So while its expensive, this lamp actually delivers an effective does of light. highly recommended.

I use this sad lamp on a daily basis it has 3 brightness settings build quality is very good size is ideal very easy to use I would say it has been extremely useful for me as I also WFH

I love my new lamp, I primarily use it for video conferencing.

I bought this as I do suffer from SAD but I also wanted a natural bright light to put on makeup. It's doing both very well. It's easy to setup and you can adjust the height which is really nice as you can get it to shine exactly where you want it to .I have had other expensive SAD lamps before, and one broke because it was flimsy (and was over 150 pounds). This one feels more robust, especially the base. If you're looking for a SAD lamp, this one is excellent at the price, and if you're looking for a light to put on makeup with this does a fantastic job.It's 99.99% perfect. The only complaint is that the plug has a blue light on it that glows rather brightly, so at night when I'm sleeping it was lighting up a whole corner of my room. I put some black electrical tape over it and it's sorted but I don't see the need for that light to be there.
