Have had this on one ride, so too soon to tell if sturdy, however the bolts are the correct length for a standard Garmin connector - My Garmin can be fitted without scratching. Also the case clip is overcentre when closed so the GoPro doesnt fall out and the GoPro is held tightly without rattles.Be aware though that if using this to fit a Hero 5 Session on top of a bike helmet that the small on/off switch at the back is covered. Not a big problem, because the big round button can be set to one-touch record and you have voice recording - or you can just get the camera out of the mount. On/Off switch is accessible if on the side of a motorbike helmet or slung under something.

Well this product is quite rubbish to be honest. Had my original genuine cage for 5 years and never had a problem with it until my helmet fell on the floor and broke it so I noticed this one and decided to give it a go. It is so brittle and cheap it didn't even make it in the post. The camera did not fit miles to tight even with the clasp broken. Shame because I am struggling to find an original GoPro low profile cage these days. Your money hope you have better luck than me.

Absolutely rubbish, the clasp did not last long at all. In fact, I didn’t even get to take my GoPro out as I left it in the holder overnight only to find that the plastic clasp had snapped in two. Luckily Amazon offered a full refund upon returning the item. Avoid at all costs!

It does leave a very slight mark on the camera, though that's only the rubber exterior so it's not a big deal. But I do recommend removing the camera from the frame when you're not using it!Holds it pretty tight in order to do that, though. The hinge mechanism feels more robust than the one which comes with the GoPro!

This is a near perfect replacement for the GoPro cage I received when I bought my Hero Session 5. The slight difference of the lower profile mount will be an advantage for some uses such as the wrist strap when surfing but is not going to work with my bike attachment on the handlebars as it is too low, but I will figure something out.

This case is quite poor quality plastic, and not made very well. I had to excess plastic on mine with damaged my camera.I wish I could buy a genuine one, unfortunately, it's just poor imitations.the case has now cracked after a a few days of use in the pool.

Cradle holds gopro securely and everything works fine. The clip to hold the unit to the helmet mount slide on easily but there is a little play in the fitting. Doesn’t effect the video as image stabilization takes care of it but I can feel and hear the little bit of play in connection during use. Not the biggest problem in the world really.

It does not fit properly on Caddx Orca 4k. You have to really force it and after it sits in starnge position. Hope it is sturdy and will resist the time trial.
