Really Works for My Blood Levels!
The media could not be loaded. Bought this product after bloodwork showed my levels were high. I have had intermittent problems with this condition for the last few years but have not taken anything stronger for it; I have tried to manage things with my diet. I was happy to find this product with all the important ingredients blended into one. My independent research found certain types of ingredients are more effective than others, and I see that Mountain Peak includes these. I also appreciate the value I get because I don't have to buy these separately in the drugstore. I did the math and I feel I'm saving at least $20-$30 a month by getting just one product with all I need. My initial results are very promising and as I take it more regularly over a longer time, I expect it to continue. I will buy again. I recommend this product.

Check out the ingredients!!!!!
Don’t want to take your traditional cholesterol lowering prescription medication that comes with a variety of side effects from muscle soreness to liver problems? Look no more. These cholesterol lowering supplement is what you need if you’re looking to safely do so. You can go and spend all the money to buy these supplements separately or you can get it all in one capsule. We all know that red yeast rice and niacin are extremely powerful at keeping theCholesterol levels within the normal range. This supplement offers it altogether plus garlic, artichoke extract, coA10 and more.Ordered it for my dad who in the past refused to take atorvastatin due to the side effects listed above. He’s been taking this supplement with no side effects and feeling great. If you take your health seriously and would like to take something that is clean and supportive for your body, this supplement is for you!

30 days to lower cholesterol
My cholesterol levels have been creeping up the last few years and I want to lower my numbers before I need medication. The first week has gone smooth - easy to take, clear instructions - and I feel better. Like my metabolism is running better. The ingredient list is impressive with red yeast rice, artichoke extract, and several phytosterols. Getting my labs done in a few weeks. I’ll update with results!EDIT: Got my results back. LDL down 11 points, HDL down 2 points, and triglycerides down 14. This wasn't the only change I made, but I don't think my numbers would have improved like this without it.

Impressive blend of ingredients, but it didn’t seem to work for me
I have an autoimmune condition that can contribute to high cholesterol. Unfortunately, these didn’t work for my LDL specifically. I had high hopes for them based on the ingredients and the price tag. Perhaps they just didn’t work due to my specific condition, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re shopping around. I have hashimotos autoimmune thyroditis.

Proprietary blends are questionable
I'll start out saying my cholesterol has improved according to doc. Said my HDL and LDL levels are better than most. Could be a diet thing, could be these supplements. Previously tested as average for my age group and weight. Now on to the ingredients and my complaintProprietary blends are mixtures of ingredients that are not disclosed in their exact quantities on the product label. Instead, only the total amount of the blend is given, along with a list of the ingredients included in the blend. This can be problematic as this can be done to sell supplements at premium prices for a capsule of cheap ingredients with a slight dash of the expensive ingredients. Take the following ingredient:Coenzyme Q-10 and phosphatidyl choline are commonly used in supplements to support heart health and brain function, respectively, and are generally considered safe for most people. This is an expensive ingredient as my concern with the proprietary blend is they may have skimped out here.No ill effects noted while taking the product and it seems to be doing something

Might be effective but beware of niacin and liver damage
The ingredients in this do appear to be effective cholesterol fighters, and they seem to be of good quality. However, I was disappointed to find that it has a high dose of niacin in it. On amazon, the description and images don't say that. The image of the ingredients doesn't match what is actually on the bottle. The bottle says Niacin as the first ingredient, whereas the picture of the ingredients label says Inositol Hexanicotinate. That's just a fancy term for a type of niacin. If I had known it had a high dose of niacin, I probably wouldn't have gotten it. Niacin is known for reducing cholesterol, but you have to be careful with it. High doses can cause liver damage, and depending on which source you find, 175mg could be considered very high. Sources say that this type of niacin is less likely to cause some of the niacin side effects, but even more likely to cause liver damage than regular niacin. Bottom line, this might be effective but you should talk to a doctor first and it should probably only be used if you seriously need to reduce your cholesterol. It is being marketed as if it's just a healthy supplement you can take without worrying about it.

Impressive ingredients
The media could not be loaded. This product has a very impressive list of ingredients. It is well known that Niacin (Vitamin B3) is beneficial in lowering cholesterol, easing arthritis and boosting brain function. The proprietary blend gives only general information on what it contains and it is understandable that information cannot be too detailed. On the other hand, you just have to trust the combination. The product is manufactured for Mountain Peak Nutritionals in Oregon, however it does not say where is actually produced. It is a great difference between “Manufactured by” and “Manufactured for”. The manufacturing note is placed vertically on the edge of the label, therefore is easy to miss.To me, this adds a note of uneasiness. The capsules are easy to swallow, with no after taste. Recommended dose is 3 per day, with main meals.I took the product for a few days only and I will have to update in a month. Hopefully my numbers will go down, as they were creeping up a little. So far no side affects.
