I bought these to try to get a deep sliver out of my thumb. I use the edge to shave down the callus that's formed from picking it at for months. And the tip cut perfectly down deep into my thumb to get to the sliver. Don't think I succeeded in finding the stinking thing, but not for lack on this guy's part. Very sharp point to stab down and very sharp edge to shave. Handle is big enough to hold easily. I like the protective cover over the blade and put it back on to save if I want to use it for someone else before tossing it. I'll be glad to have these for future slivers where I need to cut along them to get them out.

Could not extract a cactus thorn as it was too deep. Unlike other scalpels these have a nice pointed head to really dig in there providing the opportunity to get deep. After a genuine bloodbath I seem to have finally hit pay dirt.

Great value for the price. Very sharp and durable. We used them in dissecting pigs in our science lab. The Plastic cap made them safe and easy to throw out after the dissection. The size was perfect for the big cuts and getting into the smaller sections. They were surprisingly sturdy for the size and the price. Highly recommend.

I've been using these to debride after at- home plantar wart treatments. They're nice and sharp and come with a cover so you don't have to worry about getting poked accidentally. They get the job done!

Great product - super sharp - well worth the money

I bought these for shadow foaming my tool box drawers and they work fantastic. The sharp tapered tip is better than the rounded scalpels IMO because they make sharper turns around the tools. I have over 30 drawers and a lot of tools so these get slightly dull after a while of foam cutting, but luckily they are disposable and the cost is well worth it for disposable/consumable items. If I run out during my current project or start a new one, I will defiantly re-purchase.
