I also enjoy helping her build the different configurations and watching the balls race down the tracks. Using the guide that comes in the box, she has been able to start off building easier configurations and then increasingly more complex ones.

I bought this as a birthday present for my 12 year old son and he loved this. Easy to assemble, clear instructions, and lots of scope for doing your own thing. He can happily play with this for a good 1-2 hours and regularly call me to come to show off what he's done! Recommended.

Bought for our 8 year old grandaughter - honestly I think I've played with it as much as her. Easy to assemble is a tricky question here as the assembly if half the fun. Following the instructions, you can easily put together all the models in the accompanying manual and leaves you wanting to try different things and (I'm sure the company will love) buy more add-ons to make more elaborate models. Great sense of achievement when it all works. I think the many different add-ons give it a high replayability factor.
