These help so much. You can reveal parts of a dungeon at a time, swap sides to different between overworld or indoor/underground. The little icons also help visualize stairs, doors, chests, etc.

Great price. lots of variability in what you can do with it. there was a little musty smell and some mold in the box lid, but not on the product. a couple of pieces had some of the edges peeled up like you'll see in the other images here. without those imperfections and possible mold contamination, it'd be 5 stars.

I got these cus me and my partner host two games and I was starting to DM. I gave up DMing cus i didnt have enough time to prep, but these have changed the way my DM sets up encounters. its so easy to whip up a map and the tiles are super thick and durable. with a nice finish. they are double sided and the large ones that are 6x6 make estimating range in 5e really easy cus they are 6 squares across which is the average move speed and also most spells are 30/60/90/120ft range

Received my product in excellent condition. After removing the shrink wrap, I did detect a musty odor. This dissipated quickly, and there was nothing present on any of the box contents. The tiles, as noted in the description, are parchment on one side and white on the other with the grid clearly marked. They are also thicker card, like board game map tiles. This gives them a nice heft and feel. I would recommend these for use in your games for mapping, or for specific custom pieces for those with other printed tiles you may already own. My only thought for a drawback is that they are cut for square grids, so no curves. Those can be drawn in though.

Buy them. But them now. Buy all of them. These are absolutely fantastic, and well, well worth the money. I use all of The Master’s Atlas and I love them far more than my traditional table top game mat. They are useful for any and all rpgs, and have made all of my sessions so much more fun. All of my players admire them, and they are incredibly versatile. I’ve been using them consistently for many months, and when using dry erase markers, they wipe off easily. I don’t recommend letting them stay marked for too long, as they can stain over time, but as long as you wipe them off after every game session, they will be just as pristine as the day you bought them. They are very sturdy, can definitely take some abuse from a rogue dog tail or clumsy player. Try to keep them from getting wet however (their one weakness) as they can warp. Basically treat these tiles well, and they will last you a long time, and look and work perfectly. I will continue to buy and love these as long as they exist.

Can definitely handle having the initiative trackers and even a dm screen fitted dice tower without any issues!

Alrighty. Look. I have to review this so that more people go into getting this product with some better adjusted expectations.It kinda baffles me that people would give 4-5 stars on a product they receive that has mildew smell and visible mold in packages.I am thankful that mine did not have any clear mold, but the smell is noticeable of cheap materials or damp area of packaging.The main issue I had was that a decent fraction of the 3x3 tiles have vinyl peeling away at areas. Mind you, these pictures were taken on the first day of use for my sessions as I noticed them while making the dungeon for our game.Thankfully I haven't seen any other tiles start to peel, but that doesn't excuse that a product that is on its first day out is already peeling like it has been through some wear and tear. That exudes poor quality materials or just shoddy technique of getting this made.Which I hate to say because overall the product as a whole, conceptually, is amazing and makes dungeon creation a breeze.The one saving grace is that is it two sided and it appears that the other side has not peeled like the sides I'm showing have, but still. That is just with the first day out the box and having only used it for one 4 hour session.I can't and don't want to tank this product, but I just want more people to be aware of the potential woes you may have even if you dodge the worst that some other customers have had to endure with mold trying to fester its way around in the box.
