This book also had a good review of math, english, writing and logic. The exercises in the book gave you good feedback as to areas for additional study and review.

Several items wrong with this product.(1) There are NOT 6 practice tests for YOUR child - there is ONLY ONE(1)- 3 for ISEE and 3 for SSAT and so only 3 POTENTIAL would be for your child- and then ONLY 1 is for your child's test (1 for 5/6 grade, 1 for 7/8 grade and 1 for 9/10/11/12 grade) So, unless your child is entering more than one grade at the same time, there is only 1 practice test- Practice exams, for YOUR child, are really only 10 of the 496 pages(2) HALF of the study guides are for SSAT and half for ISEE- so that wastes over 200 pages of the 496 pages assuming you are only taking ONE exam(3) So, that leaves only app 100 pages of real value for YOUR child's specific exam- i.e. this becomes more of a pamphlet than a book(4) Therefore, this is a very NON eco-friendly way to go- over 300 of the 496 pages are thrown away and unused for EVERY buyer- they should just let you go online, pick your specific needs and download it as a pamphlet and print it yourself (overall this will be WAY less paper waste)If you have to purchase this product, make sure to tear out all of the non-pertinent pages so that there will be no confusion on what small portion pertains to your child..

I would had love to use this book to study with my son for his SSAT test (my used another book). McGraw alway put out the best study book.

Excellent tool to review concepts. I would like the practice exercises broken out more clearly for students, but a minor concern compared to the great benefit.

maybe the material inside is outdated or just not a good representative of the actual test. since the i heard the actual test is much more difficult. practice material should reflect that as someone who performs really well with the practice material should do reasonably well on the actual test, but that is not the case. therefore i do not recommend it.

OVERALL A GOOD BOOK TO PREPARE HOWEVER WHEN I PURCHASED THIS COPY I WAS NOT EXPECTING IT TO BE THE 2ND EDITION WITH A NEW COVER.... THE TESTS ARE THE SAMEEEEE COMMMME ON!!

Yep it's easy to use

Practice test are too easy in this book that real test for Upper level. It is better to avoid this book.
