For induction only!
We bought it to protect the glass surface of our Duxtop induction AND infrared double cooktop. It started smoking in the first minute when we put it on the infrared burner!!! Works fine on the induction one - boiled water in a pot for 10+ minutes and no problem.Looks very thin and flimsy and cheap but it does what it's supposed to do - for the induction side of the cooktop only!
