s-idee® 01199 S183C HD camera, 4.5-channel, Quadcopter upgrade version, 2.0MP camera

Got this for a Christmas present,the weather was too foul to fly. Tried it indoors to get to grips with controls, easier said than done as all of the instructions were in German, Google translate only got me so far, but enough to understand operation. The first calm day and opportunity to use it outdoors, I made sure lights were operational & commenced flight, within seconds of flight it was a good hundred feet up, steering became difficult as the lights couldn't be seen from below in daylight conditions so i was unaware of which direction it was heading as the rear lights are red, after struggling after 5 mins I tried to reduce power but the drone just kept going vertical, I presume it was out of range, but there is no warning indicator & no auto return, it disappeared into the clouds never to be seen again, we hung around for a good hour trying to find it but to no avail, if it HAD returned it would have had some awesome footage on the card, a shame, very disappointed..and it WOULD have to happen on my birthday..maybe it should have been supplied with kite string ! On the plus side it was fun while it lasted. Lesson learned.

My partner is having great fun using this, he loves itUnfortunately due to the weather he has only been able to go outside with it once, but I'm sure that will change when we get some decent weather!But he is getting lots of practice indoors.Good Buy.

Bought it for my sons birthday, so many to choose from because only pictures to see, glad I chose this one, perfect and well worth the money, x
