There was a nice selection of items very nicely packed and the packing is a downside for me. There was so much packaging which could have been sent out a little. Other than that I think the food was above average quality kind of marks and Spencer's finest or Waitrose.

Didn’t open it as it was a gift for someone else. Lovely gift box but a shame there is a big metal label on it - completely unremovable - that gives away the contents so I still had to wrap it.

There is a blank card to write on as well.There are a variety of items.The milk chocolate taste smooth.And the dark chocolate was strong.The caramel sea salt fudge was too sweet.Raspberry and Vanilla Jam was special.The butter biscuits were a special taste. The small butter-crumb biscuits were dark and smoky. They have a nice cheesy flavour. The oak-smoked flour crackers have a nice strong chilli taste.

This is a super hamper and I really recommend it to anyone looking for a gift for someone. The box is very sturdy and you get a good range of items that are all nicely packaged in the box. The theme is British hamper, although the packaging is perhaps a bit London focused with beefeaters, red buses and Big Ben.A lot of thought and time has been put into the product selection and it really has paid off. There is a nice little booklet that explains the contents and where each of the items is from. There were long best before dates on the items, so didnt need to worry about eating them all straight away, although have to admit they didnt last long as the item are really good! All of the products are high quality and not something you find on standard supermarket shelves, which is nice for a gift. The contents have been sourced from artisan producers across the UK. All of the items taste nice and its a good selection of biscuits, chocolate and other treats. I think everything works and nothing is out of place.You could probably make this yourself a bit cheaper than the hamper RRP, but you would have to do a lot of work and with this hamper its already done for you. Yes you are paying for the convenience and presentation, and I think it's worth it.I highly recommend this and would give it as a gift to someone.

Priced around £50 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this is not a bad price for a hamper as they are never cheap, and this one is beautifully presented in a sturdy and printed cardboard box (with smart logo) as well as a ribbon. This box also arrives inside another plainer brown cardboard ensuring your hamper and it contents arrive in good order with the recipient.Given this is the British Hamper Company (and the print on the hamper), this hamper would make an ideal gift to a friend or family member living overseas, although not all the products are typically or traditionally British e.g. corn scratchings (vegan pork scratchings). There are ten products in the hamper, all good quality with an 'artisan' vibe to them, and include crackers, biscuits, chocolate and fudge. They are as they are pictured in the listing. They are all nestled in yellow shreds in the hamper.I think this is a well thought out hamper with lots of afternoon treats in it that would appeal to most people. Yes, it is pricey but then not really for a quality hamper. Let's face it, this is something you buy as a gift for someone you might otherwise struggle to buy a gift for, and you know that it will be well received and enjoyed by the recipient.
