Solid and very attractive. A bit small though but functional for regular sized matches.

This is a beautiful item and a great nice gift idea for anyone who likes candles or incense and prefers the ceremony of a match vs a lighter.However, I was really hoping it would be hefty enough to stay still on the table while striking a match against the side (to allow one-handed uses). Unfortunately, you have to hold the container in one hand and the match in the other or else striking the match just makes the container slide across the table without lighting anything.

This match holder is brass, heavy and lovely. Goes well with my decor! Now all I need are some jazzy matches.

Nice holder, but not a fan of the strike sticker on the bottom. Maybe it's bad matches, but the light and immediate went out. Fourth finally took...

The striker doesnt work. It breaks all my matches, so wasteful and i have to light my matches a different way.
