This PSU is not too long compared to other 1000W units but it also has plugs on the side which makes it quite short so it should be compatible with a lot of cases even if the max supported PSU length is short. The cables it comes with are quite flexible which makes it easy to route around the case. And the cables don't have inline capacitors so it's easy to bend around near the plug. The PSU fan also barely ever turns on. The zero RPM fan mode is really great and is the best implementation across all of the other manufacturers I've seen.

I'd expect good quality for a $200 power supply, and I haven't felt I wasted my money. The modular design is good, it was easy to install, and the damn thing is so quiet I can't hear it. Runs a 7900 XTX just fine. Looks decent too, though that's not really critical for a PSU. If I had one tiny complaint, it's that I wish they had given one or two more of the standalone 8-pin connectors rather than the 8 pin + 8 pin connectors, makes it a little annoying to hook up a 7900 and looks worse when it's done, but ultimately it still works fine.

Runs my RTX 5080 and my i9 14900k seamlessless with lights and other accessories perfectly. This thing is a monster. She fits perfectly, actually better than I had expected when doing a measurement check before I ordered. It is quiet and I had to actually shine my light on it to be sure it was actually running ideally. Connections were perfect and sturdy.

I have a Fractal Design Torrent mid-tower case where the PSU goes on top, but the frame of the case is too close to the side of the RM1000x Shift PSU where the cables plug in, so you can't fit any cables in there as the gap is too small. It seems this area was made for PSUs with the normal rear connections as there is ample space behind the PSU. So double check how much clearance you have where the cables plug into the PSU. I'm sure it's a great PSU, I've had Corsair PSUs for 15 years and never had a problem. I ended up going with a Corsair HX850 (cables on the rear, not the side like the Shift series), it has more than enough power (850w is more than enough unless you have an insane rig) and is also platinum rated whereas RMX series is gold rated. Model number I got is CP-9020138-NA.

everything inside the box was in new condition, not like new, new. it came with an excess of cables and was easy to install, supplies ample power and was great for the price.

Love this power supply. It’s quiet and works fantastic to power my rig with a 4090. This was a great fit in my H6 airflow case. Highly recommend based on the quality of products!

I was having issues with the Nvidia 12VHPRW quad cable on my old PSU inside my Corsair 7000D case. The door would press into the cable and was causing random system crashes. The voltage readings are now very stable. The 12VHPWR cable on this PSU easily clears the case. It also helps that the cables are flat, so it makes them easy to bend to the needed angles. I think the Shift PSUs could benefit by rotating the motherboard power cable by 90 degrees. That would have made getting it to fit cleanly behind the 7000D's back access panel door easier. All the other cables seem to route much better since they just go straight up.

Necesitaba hacer upgrade de mi fuente, pues adquiri una rx7900xtx... y con el resto de componentes que tengo, necesitaba minimo 900w, pues bien esta fuente funciona de maravilla tengo bastantes años usando fuentes y memorias de Corsair y al dia de hoy no e tenido ni un solo problema con alguno de sus productos. Esta fuente tiene un diseño NOVEDOSO, pues las conexiones modulares, en lugar de tenerlas por la pate de atras, los tiene a un costado, si bien no para todos puede ser funcional por el tamaño de su gabinete, a mi me fue de lujo de hecho por eso la compre, y la gestion de cables fue mas facil en mi gabinete Thermaltake View 51. Tiene conexiones listas ya para las nuevas tarjetas graficas y gestion de energia necearias para las mismas.

Cuando la compré estaba en 3000 MXN y, aunque no necesito este nivel de potencia, como tan solo estaba unos 200 MXN más cara que su versión de 850W decidí comprarla por si en un futuro necesitaba de sus capacidades completas. Hasta el momento no me ha dado ninguna falla y fue muy sencillo instalarla.
