This book is a valuable tool for introducing children to the richness and diversity of the Bible's message, fostering a deeper understanding of God's love and faithfulness. Illustrations are amazing! All texts are interconnected which brings so much clarity and helps children ( as well as adults!) see the Bible as one cohesive narrative.

Beautifully produced. It’s very attractive and the children want to look at it. It’s well written for children and has a little paragraph that shows how each story links to the wider picture. The characters are ethnically accurate for where the Bible stories take place.

I’m impressed with this children’s story Bible. It’s not the Bible but key stories retold, by respected Bible scholar, theologian Tom Wright. It gives the sweep of scripture from Genesis to Revelation and connects Bible Stories of God's Faithful Promises. It includes stories not often found in children’s story bibles, making this good preparation for children who are not quite ready to transition to a “real Bible”. It even includes basic Maps to orientate the reader to where the events of the Bible took place. The text of each story is concise, faithful to the Bible text and very well presented, which is on the left-hand page and beautiful illustrations, relating to the story, taking one full page on the right. If you’re looking for a children’s story bible for aged 6+ (specified for reading age‎ 7 - 12 years) get this one! Thoroughly recommended.

This is a really lovely book, by a well renowned author, with fab artwork, and beautiful presentation throughout. Great for younger readers, particularly. I liked how the stories are linked to themes and books in The Bible. Bought for my brother who's in his 40s, disabled, and was recently baptized. Wanted a book that he could access but wasn't condescending by being too child focused. This fitted the bill perfectly.

Not only child, adult love this book. Easy to read, clear guide through the whole bible, colourful painting and pictures. Love it! highly recommend.

Lovely book purchased for my 5 year old who is a big fan, I thought some of the stories might be too old for him but he really enjoys reading them and looking at the illustrations.I really appreciate the depth of the content and the stories included and it’s helpful having the story comparisons in places, it’s also comforting knowing it’s been written by someone who is trustworthy in his theology. Would highly recommend

Our 2 boys (6&8) enjoy listening to chapter books and we read them everything from Enid Blyton to the 13 Storey Treehouse series. We also read at least 2 pages (they usually ask for more) from My Big Story Bible each night, because it's written in such a way that they want to hear more. The pictures are nice, but actually our kids rarely ask to see them and are used to books without pictures -so it is how this is written which keeps them engaged. It's bible stories-pitched perfectly for kids with imaginations. I really recommend this for people wanting to share bible stories with pretty regular kids.

Good size to read in school assembly for children, fun illustration style, well considered words, links through to other books of the Bible. In use weekly after purchased. Highly recommended!
