Both of my two-year-old cats love this thing. But one of them managed to chew the feather off within 10 minutes of getting it, and they are also starting to chew up the plasticky mesh fringe. I only let them play with it while I am directly supervising and I lock it away afterwards.

Our kittens love this toy and several of the adult cats do, too. This is basically a fabric covered spiral of heavy gauge wire. One end of fabric came loose in less than an hour of cat play exposing the raw end of wire. I used pliers to bend the end over so the sharp point was gone. I periodically pull the fabric back down toward that end, but there is always a section of exposed wire. Cats still play with it.I rated only 3 stars since it basically fell apart. If I rated for cat satisfaction, I would give 5 stars.

My cat loves plying with the but within 5 minutes the features were pulled off and the end came apart exposing wire inside.

Got this for our cats to play with. The cat toy had a not so safe or soft fraying ribbon on the edge of the spiral of which my cats began chewing off and eating. I immediately cut the ribbon OFF. I gave it back to my cats when one of them got caught up in the spiral, became upset and could not get out of. This all happened within 30 minutes of receiving the toy. I threw the spiral toy AWAY. This is NOT A SAFE TOY!!!!

Is not a safe toy for my cat he was eating the clear net around the toy very dangerous 😞👎

Cats really weren't that excited about it. Maybe more for kittens
