These Baroque Feather Chocolate Molds are great for more than just fondant and/or chocolate!! I got them to use with polymer clay. I have been looking for some nice Baroque molds for awhile and I am really pleased with these. The flourishes are beautifully detailed and there are several mirrored shapes, which is so helpful. I like that the silicone mold is very thick, which gives it a lot of stability, yet they are also very flexible. So it is easy to get a good impression on the clay and then to get the clay out with no distortion. These molds will last a long time, they are very durable and the price was great!! The purple clay I used for a test worked much better than the silver clay I used. Both clays were just scrap pieces I had laying around. The silver clay had too much glitter in it, which made it a bit crumbly and fragile. If I had used well conditioned clay with no inclusions I would not have had any problems- so it isn’t the molds fault. I really like the impression I was able to get with the purple clay. The details are clean and clear. These are very nice molds!!

These Baroque molds are really beautiful. I absolutely love them. I use them with clay for my project even though they’re meant for food and they work just fine. The mold itself is very thick and feels like it’s really great quality. The details are beautiful and the castings look perfect each time they come out of the mold. I can only imagine how this would look for their intended purpose on a cake as these are absolutely beautiful.
