Works as described. The website for the drivers needs to make the driver setup file more noticeable to download instead of the individual files that you have to install manually. Works perfect with ForScan. Diagnosed the issues with the VDM on my Navigator that the cheap ELM and android software wouldn't diagnose.

Worked like a charm to reprogram a remanufactured ABS module on a 2007 F150. The shop I initially asked to program the module could not do it, and claimed that the module was probably bad. I didn't believe their diagnosis, so I acquired the FORScan software and this cable. Using AsBuilt data from a Ford website for my specific VIN number, I manually entered the proper values (alternatively can also load an AsBuilt file). The flashing ABS light went out immediately. This procedure can also be employed with a used ABS module, but you get what you pay for. There are helpful tutorials on YouTube that give good pointers on using the software; some of these use expensive bluetooth interfaces which are not necessary. If you want to DIY a Ford and save major bucks, get the Vgate vLinker
