Tons of potential but still needs refinement
One of the other reviews articulated a similar point--this product offers a ton of potential, though still a bit raw as you'd expect from a first iteration. The idea makes a ton of sense--taking advantage of the iPhone's (or iPad's) top quality screens and enabling their use as a high quality monitor. Long story short, this enables you to get a video signal via HDMI into your iOS device. You've got to use the Accsoon SEE app, but once you do it works pretty well. Connect to your camera's HDMI port, connect to your iPhone with a custom USB-C to lightning cable and lo and behold you've got a very usable video signal. The whole thing is powered with a NP-F battery--in fact, you can power other devices via a USB-C 5V out port while you're powering the SeeMo. What I consider the most impressive thing about this device--the lag from signal to phone is extremely low. It has the functionality of a 'real' field monitor. The app is decent enough, though I have a tendency to accidentally escape to the home screen while interacting with it. This is something you run into with any number of smartphone apps, but it is an issue that should be worked on. The audio is marginal at best though I didn't have any awful sound like some other users. The audio just isn't good enough IMO. Also having a ton of promise is the live streaming functionality but for now the setup just isn't smooth enough to replace easier to use live streaming on the go solutions like the GoPro.The hardware is a mixed bag--I like the size (very small) but the build quality isn't great. It's a fully plastic device, and not particularly good plastic at that. It feels like something that would break easily--in other words, the direct antithesis to the user experience with a device like the GoPro or DJI Action Cam. That's a big issue IMO--a device intended to be used 'in the field' but one that presents an ever-present concern of damage. A number of reviews suggested that you use a 'dedicated iPhone' with this device. You might have an older model around if you're a frequent upgrader. Otherwise, you'll need to do something about this.Another issue that is borderline mystifying--it has no 1/4" mounting interface, or any other way to attach it to anything without the phone mount clamp. The phone bracket *does* have a mount point, as well as a shoe mount on top. There are obviously workarounds to attach the device to something without the phone bracket, but this is another missed functionality that would have been simple to implement and extremely useful. As for the iPad, you'll need to provide your own mounting option. There's plenty of potential here but equally as many headaches and missed opportunities. The good news is that none of the problems are the type that can't be resolved. For now, it's tough to recommend unless you just like messing around with new technology. An iteration or two down the road, however, it could be a 'must have' tool for iPhone video work.

I really don't have the patience。
Due to the small viewfinder of the camera, I had great hopes of buying an accelerometer to improve my photography skills. But I was very disappointed with the learning process. The illustrations in the manual were not detailed, the instructions for using the Ruikou were not clear, and the connection cable of the machine was single. I had to buy another connection cable and a dedicated battery to connect my camera to the machine. I really don't have the patience。

Perfect (iPhone Pro 14 Max)
I am using an iPhone 14 Pro Max and a Sony Alpha 6100 and it works perfect. A really cool way to have a field monitor when needed that uses a device I am already carrying with me anyway.

Freezing on iOS 17
Accsoon SeeMoo worked great on iOS 16, but updating my iPad Mini to iOS 17 caused freezing of image a few seconds after turning on unit. Accsoon technical resource stated that iOS 17 has a bug in the USB-C interface, and they recommend downgrading to iOS 16. My iPad is now on iOS 17.0.3 and no bug fix yet. I’m very disappointed since the Accsoon now has the usefulness of a brick since I won’t downgrade the iOS because the iPad the used for other purposes when not used as a monitor on the Accsoon.

Has amazing potential
So I set this up with an older iPhone. I have to say I got some amazing results. Between their app and the hardware you get a very full featured field monitor with an amazingly large amount of options. And you have the benefit of using the iPhone screen which is far superior to any field monitor that you can buy out there.I wasn’t able to get the sound working yet, so I still have to work on that I may end up having to call customer service but the visual results were very impressive. The hardware is plastic but not cheap, and it’s relatively light and compact so it doesn’t add a huge amount of bulk to your camera. It comes with all the necessary cables and it has an interesting power pass-through that you can use to power some accessories.A couple of things I am uncertain on and one is the recording of raw video. Some field monitors have a say the port that lets you record to an SSD that you can attach to the field monitor. I’m pretty sure you can’t do that with this but you can record on the phone so you might want to phone with plenty of free space. I feel like you would want to use a dedicated phone for this possibly an older iPhone that you can get for less money. But you can use your current phone in a pinch .There’s so many features I have to explore and I have yet to get the sound working but I’m gonna go ahead and give it four stars for now because this thing seems like it has amazing potential. I believe they have established the proof of concept. Stay tuned I will be updating my review.

Ultra annoying sound
The media could not be loaded. Using iphone pro 14 max makes UNBEARABLE sound through the speakers uncomfortable at times fluctuates low pitch to max volume pitch. Most annoying sound I've ever heard. Not the Hdmi cable, works no problem Ninja V prores raw recording
