5Pcs 3-Inch Hook and Loop Backing Pad Sanding Pads for Dual Action Orbital Sanders, 1/4"-20 Thread | 15,000 RPM

I bought these SENRAY 2" backer pads for a specific job and they work perfectly to do it. I use 2 inch, 320 grit silicone carbide hook and loop wet & dry sandpaper on the SENRAY pads and mounted it to a Dremil Versa for getting rid of those very hard-to-remove hard water rings in toilets. These two products worked perfectly together to solve this long-standing problem in our house in Arizona where we have hard water. It will, however need a thread adapter if you want to do the same thing I did. I won't go off topic to the steps that landed me to this solution after trying unsuccessfully just about everything else under the sun, but these SENRAY pads provide a necessary part of it. The thread on the SENRAY is a standard 5/16-24 - common to a lot of small tools. The Dremil Versa is a larger, metric thread than the Senray. To adapt I just tack-welded (carefully for good alignment and balance) two hardware store nuts of proper size together to make an adapter. So far I've only used one of these disks and our toilets are sparkling. The other four I'll be finding other uses for in the shop. The "male" hook "Velcro" on the SENRAY mounting pads sticks very well to any of the "loop" sanding disks I've used. After the grit is worn out pealing them off shows it is well-adhered. The SENRAY pads are nice and round and have no discernible wobble. So sanding is smooth. A good quality especially for the very reasonable price.

I put these on my Cornwell Mini Sander and I truly believe these are better than the stock pad that comes on the sander. The size is perfect, they feel quality, last a long time before swapping, and hold on to the sandpaper wonderfully. All in all these are the easiest, best bang for your buck option out there, you won't regret it.

We had an original PC buffing disc that tore apart so we came to find replacement heads. These fit perfectly and fit the 3" sanding/buffing pads fine. For $4 each, its worth it to have extras on hand.
