Boon B11414 Pulp, Mint, Silicone Spoon with Small Holes Ideal for Toddler Self-Feeding, Suitable for Babies from 6 Plus Months

We had been given a feeder that had the side handles but our babe was finding it difficult to hold and couldn't get it to his mouth when using one hand. My sister used the Boon feeder for both her children so I tried it and my baby uses it so well. Now we don't have to hold it for him as he finds the handle easy to hold and confidently munches away on it.Something I really like about the boon is that it has little holes around the silicone teat for the pulp or taste to come through, the other feeder only had a slit at the top which oddly he wouldn't get much out of but the stringy or unwanted bits of fruit always came through it!

I was using this originally for frozen breast milk for my teething baby but i found the holes are just near the top, so once a little is eaten/melted the food sits in the base nearer the handle where there are no holes and it's difficult to get it out. Same goes when i used it for other food. My baby chomps and sucks on the end but the food just pushes back toward the handle and doesn't come out the holes well. OK for the first few bites while it's full but then she can't get the rest out! Maybe better when she's bigger and can fit more of it in her mouth but she probably will be able to handle foods without needing this tool by then anyway. So...its kind of OK, but I'd look for one with a shallower bulb or one with more holes further down.

Bought this as my son is weaning, he can hold it well & the silicone teat is great for him to chew on, its so easy to clean too! Definitely prefer this one to a mesh style one I’d used with my older son

This is a great product, you won’t regret buying it. Great to put things like grapes in without worrying about choking, I’ve been using it for the start of weaning and my daughter seems to really like it, also good to put ice in for teething, the silicone is thick enough that you don’t need to worry about gums being damaged and it’s really easy to clean too!

Great for teaching baby how to hold and feed themselves. It’s quite heavy at first but they get there in the end

I’ve always used the other types you get fromEBay for my last two. But opted for this Boon Pulp this time and glad I did! Makes easy gripping and easy to clean/sterilise. Also there’s quite a bit of room. I could fit 4 little orange segments.I would recommend
