The Little Mermaid: Guide to Merfolk

The book is awesome. I love all the lore and story building it add to Disney’s version of mermaids. The art in the book is beautiful and is all around a really fun read. I recommend to anyone who loves mermaids! (Go watch The Little Mermaid! Halle and Jonah are amazing!)

Beautiful book with tons of artwork and interesting "history" and infos about mermaids. The art is very lovely, it basically doubles as an artbook. I really like how the book isn't purely based on the Little Mermaid despite it being all over the cover and title. It took me 80 pages (halfway in) to actually see any of the movie characters. It does focus on the movie mermaids in the second half but mostly from a historical textbook kind of standpoint and not any movie plots. It's perfect for anyone who just loves everything about mermaids, and not strictly Little Mermaid fans. There are a few notes scattered throughout the book in blue that are from Prince Eric himself; awesome touch!TLDR:Pros:- Hardcover, great quality, and for such a cheap price- Gorgeous art on nearly every page- Explains lots of lore and the everyday life of mermaidsCons:- If you're looking for ONLY 'Little Mermaid' focused material this may be too broad for you. The characters are in the second half of the book.

The lore in this book is amazing. Eric did a great job building the world of the Live Action Little Mermaid in preparation for the film and the book will continue to be a fantastic companion to the film.

Adorei, não esperava que fosse gostar tanto! O livro é incrível, esse live action promete muito, impressionante como se preocuparam em construir todo um universo e contexto que nem o clássico se preocupou em explicar! As ilustrações são muito lindas, mas a descrição do anúncio está errada, pois diz que elas são totalmente coloridas e na verdade são todas em preto e branco.

Para quem gosta de sereias e mundos subaquáticos, e quer se aprofundar na história do novo live-action de A Pequena Sereia, este livro é excelente. O livro é maior e possui mais conteúdo do que eu havia imaginando. Contém ilustrações bem detalhadas sobre diversos tipos de seres do mar deste novo universo criado para o filme. Recomendo!Obs. Veio para mim dentro do prazo, sem arranhões e bem embalado.
