Great microphone but needs more gain.
Amazing value for money. Great sound but no very sensitive. Had to use a FEThead phantom to get the volume.

Good mic, good quality, does the job!
Let’s keep this simple. For the price, this is a great microphone. The people that say it isn’t worth the money, perhaps they have £100 / £200 or even £300 to spend. To those people, I say you are totally right.More money = better quality. There is no other way around it.However, the C02 is a great microphone. Yes, it has some self noise (hiss) but it’s really not that bad at all. Trust me, I’ve heard worse. If you want less hiss...you will really need to spend upwards of £100.This is very well built, looks good and sounds pretty good too.I am a YouTuber with almost 11k subscribers and I’ve been using this for some time. For now, it’s doing an excellent job. Will I upgrade it in the future? Yes! But I don’t have bags of cash laying around. For the price, this really is a great microphone. The sound this produces is clear, and slightly heavier on the mid and high ends, although it doesn’t do a bad job on the low end either. You simply don’t get a huge amount of low end, like you would with a larger condenser microphone.Good mic, good quality, does the job.Hope that helps :)

Great mic for blocking out background sounds
After months of trail and error with a variety of mics in our community radio station studio we found the C02 to be the best for broadcasting live. We use phantom power supplied through our Airmate broadcast mixer and it has has zero vibration & pop pickups. The recorded sound is quite natural and warm with minimal background noise pickup. It records guest musicians very clealry and handles vocals well. We like it so much we bought 3!
