Fresh. Very fresh. Perfect size for our battery operated grinder. This is the best tasting pink Himalayan salt we have had. My honey and I have found our brand for life. I ordered the 5 pound jar which was a few dollars more than the plastic container. I received the 5 pound plastic container instead, which was disappointing but decided to keep it.

I love this pink himalayen sea salt! I actually put a couple in my mouth to suck on during the day to ensure I am getting sufficient salt and minerals replaced since I drink so much water.
