Active noise cancellation is often the domain of more expensive headphones. So to learn that these Eono buds boast ANC at a sub £50 price is quite impressive. So how do they stack up?The headphones come in a large Eono branded card box. The packaging is a bit fiddly and not as well presented as other brands. However it should be easier to recycle. Inside you have the ear pieces in their charging case, a charging cable, and a small manual. No spare ear buds though. The quality of the case is good. It doesn't feel flimsy neither is it excessively heavy. Inside you have the ear pieces. Like many there is a tag that needs removing to enable charging. Once done they charge in the case. The ear pieces themselves feel similar to the case. Well made without being excessively heavy.Pairing the headphones is super straightforward. Just search and select the device from your Bluetooth menu. Once paired you can view the battery status on your phone. The touch controls are fairly typical. I am not the biggest fan but these work as well as any others. In terms of sound there is definitely a bit of a V EQ curve going on. Maybe even a slight mid scoop. This is fairly common on a lot of headphones as it give the impression of more dynamic range. The sound is clear and fairly pleasant. I tried a number genres and all sounded good. ANC on the other hand... In ear headphones have a lot of a passive noise cancellation by design. So it was interesting to try the ANC. Unfortunately I found no significant difference in cancellation with music and some with spoken word. Transparency mode does appear to work allowing ambient noise through. However this is all in vein as both modes impact the sound profile significantly and makes it worse. Switching it off is just better. Battery life seems reasonable and they fit comfortably in my ears. I had no problem wearing them for long periods.The ANC function isn't very effective and ultimately changes the sound profile. However the sound quality without it is good and for the pricepoint they are decent value.

Okay for general use. People that are really sensitive to sound quality will want to look at the premium brands such as Bose.However, if your not too fussed or looking for a set that you don't mind losing etc then these will do fine. Bass is okay, missing a little in the upper frequencies.The ANC did work quite well However transparency mode for me sounded just the same as ANC being off.

they are great for your everyday people who just want earphones, there's nothing majorly which stands out as above the rest but it also doesn't really have any flaws either. the price is affordable and the design is okay. the noise cancellation is good but again very average nothing which really stands out.if your a music head who really cares about music bass and stuff like that these aren't for you but if your just someone who want to listen to something while at the park or walking a pet these are great.
