I bought this for my 6 year old grand daughter. She’s learning how to play checkers and wants to learn chess. Blue is her favorite color so that was a plus. It’s small and compact so it travels well and stores well. (It fit in her Christmas stocking.) Directions are included.

Great for traveling, however the pieces are very small and if the board isn't completely flat they fall over. The board folds out 4 ways, so when opening it up, it has a tendency to not lay out completely flat. That causes problems with the small pieces standing up. Also their small size makes it easy to lose them. But if you'd like a small chess set for traveling at a low price point, this is ideal.

Perfect size for my college student who doesn't have much room in their dorm room. They like how compact it is and enjoy the non-standard color (not your typical black and white). Fun to play. Good value for the price.

Starter kit to teach my grandsons how to play checkers. Color isn’t bad either

The board broke in half the first time we played. It wouldn’t lay flat and then snapped. The pieces are tiny, but we do like them. It is definitely a travel size game, but still has all the regular pieces and board spaces.

I bought this set for my aunt who is 80 years old. She participates in church activities and enjoys playing chess with the other folks who attend. She says this set is easy for her to travel with and it brings joy to her and her friends. I highly recommend.

I purchased this product because I liked the look of it and it was the cheapest chess and checkers board game that I could find and that was a mistake. Because it's puny. Well that's why it's called 'Pack and Go.'

Good for the price. My bad that I didn’t check dimensions before purchasing. This is very mini version of the game. Good quality though!
