It does the job but don't expect amazing performance
The ability to take many forms of memory storage is brilliant. However it is hampered by poor performance. It could achieve a maximum of 36MB/sec transfer rate in my testing. This seems to be a common issue with a wide variety of lower end USB devices, they can't even max out USB2 speeds let alone hit USB3 speeds.I took a USB memory stick and connected it directly to my USB3 hub and it was writing at 60MB/sec. Connected it via this memory reader and the same USB memory stick maxed at 22MB/sec. When accessing a MicroSD that I know can read at over 100MB/sec it couldn't achieve more than 36MB/sec.So if you're looking for something that can take pretty much any form of memory storage you're likely to come across this is a great fit. But don't expect it to be amazingly quick or to get the most from the more expensive memory cards.As a few others have said the USB cable on the unit is very small. So neat but may present a problem for placing it in a convenient position to insert and remove memory cards.It is very lightweight but feels reasonably strong for a purely plastic case.Overall I'm a little disappointed. I'd have liked to see better performance, and suspect it is only really USB2 or a very poor implementation of USB3.

The item doesn’t work. It doesn’t plug into my laptop the usbc only fits partially so it won’t show up on my laptop.
