Perfect replacement
A third party replacement that works exactly as the original, only thing that was different is its missing the amazon logo. Connection to the fire stick was simple, turned on the tv then the fire stick started to search for a remote. Once connected there is no compatibility issues and all the buttons work exactly the same. Definitely worth buying to replace a broken one as the quality is the same.

Good replacement remote , but has an update issue.
This Clone replacement Voice remote works well with my Fire TV Stick (3rd gen). Looks and feels much the same as the Amazon original and all buttons work as expected. Initially the "Power" and "Volume" didn't work with my Samsung TV but worked after a reboot. Note you can change the TV Brand via "Settings->Equipment Control->Manage Equipment->TV->Change TV". As mentioned by other reviewers the Fire Stick makes multiple seemingly random attempts to upgrade the Remotes Firmware with a pop-up message. This says not to touch any of the buttons and that it should take 1 - 2 minutes. However if left it just timeouts after about 5 minutes. If you look under "Settings->Remotes & Bluetooth Devices->Amazon Fire TV Remotes->Amazon Fire TV Remote *", for an original Remote there is a "Version" number, but for the Clone there isn't one. My conclusion is that the Clone has fixed firmware that cannot be updated so attempts to do so always fail and timeout, hence all the retries. However I can immediately dismiss the pop-up message using the back button without any adverse consequences. Annoying but not a show stopper. Hence 4 stars.Edit :- The remote for the Power, mute & volume functions uses infrared to communicate with your TV. It needs to know the TV brand to send the correct control signals and to have that information in its firmware. I tried this on a Blaupunkt TV and had to set the TV brand as described above before the volume buttons etc would work. Guess that the firmware updates are to extend the list of supported manufactures.

As expected
Fine but still don’t understand why the previous remote just stopped working.

Surviving Kid Testing 101!
Bought this Fire Stick replacement remote after my kids decided to put the old one through a "quality test"—which, apparently, involves a lot of dropping, throwing, and hiding in mysterious places. I was sure I’d need to buy a new remote every week, but so far, this one’s holding up like a champ! It’s been through the ultimate durability challenge, and it’s still going strong. If it can survive the hands of my little "experimenters," it can survive anything. So far, so good—this remote’s fine than I expected, and it gets the job done without any drama.Highly recommend for anyone with kids who think remotes are indestructible toys!

Partially Works With An OK Feel
The remote does connect to Fire TV Cube, however, only partially works. Some buttons work, others do not.Fire TV Cube keeps saying it's updating security & software on the remote but it never actually completes which I'm guessing is because the remote isn't official.Materials feel OK (not particularly good or bad). Build quality is the same although battery cover alignment seems a little hit and miss. The buttons that do not work are: power, rewind, play/pause, fast-forward, mute, volume up, volume down.
