Inserts into 1/2 inch EMT without problem. Double ended 14 in tubes for threaded standoffs against outside wall. Worked great with ONE EXCEPTION. They can rotate under load inside the conduit, but will not come out. I used that first group as they were. On second five, I used just a ring of epoxy in tube and tightened as much as wanted on that group.To epoxy, I dipped tube in ~1/4 inch spread of JBWeld and then used a toothpick to swirl inside and clean outside a bit. Then with tube still vertical, I set the insert on concrete (the best way to insert) tappy tap taped the tube onto insert and wiped the outside. One point, if you got generous with epoxy DO NOT FLIP until 30min no-run time on epoxy, or epoxy or might run and fill threads.As a note, I had the "opportunity" to remove an insert after epoxied. LONG HARD and violent PROCESS and the insert assembly was still together (spinning too easy then) but with just a buggered tube lip.I liked it overall and am buying fifteen more. Bob

I like the way it held onto the tubing. I used them to hold a steel plate in place on a small electric powered vehicle for my niece. A sidewalk car that is getting a lot of use and they haven't moved at all. The steel plate has to be removable so I couldn't weld it in place.

These showed up in my search results when looking for threaded inserts for 3/4" EMT conduit pipe specifically. The product details were a little unclear, I knew I was taking a gamble when buying these but unfortunately they do not fit, they just pass right through. Will be returning them.
